Still in Jacob's POV. I promise you guys will find out what happens with Eliza.
We throw her in the back and knock her out.
"That shit was crazy. Are you going to look after the girl?"
I nod. "I honor last wishes and besides the kid has done nothing to me. I get back and become Boss she's going to be a maid."
He drives back to the Family house and we get out.
"Alright put her in my room and keep her there for me."
I walk back in to my father's office and see him waiting for me.
"Is it done?"
I nod. "Now when am I going to be made Boss?"
"At dinner, tonight."
I nod. This was his plan all along. He didn't want to get to know Beatrice he wants her to see my true colors.
"At my house, the families will be here."
"Of course."
"Come dressed nice. It's a shame you don't have a son yet. Maybe that girl won't be useless after all."
"Is that all?" I ask, getting angry.
He nods.
"How will you be spending your last day as Boss?"
"That my boy is something a father should never tell his son. All I'm going to say is you might have more siblings because I'm not pulling out."
"Alright! Bye pops."
I leave and get a call.
"Hello?"
"Jacob. I ain't gonna be able to pick up our baby so you gonna need to pick her up." Alexis tells me.
"Alright."
"You're not going to ask why-"
"Nope bye." I tell her before hanging up.
I quickly walk to my room where the girl Maya sits on my bed with her hands folded and tears running down her cheeks.
Maya is a pretty dark skinned girl that resembles her mother. Her mother shouldn't have died. It's just as her and pops had different views and his views always win.
"Are you going to kill me?" She sniffles.
I shake my head. "Look, that thing with your mom and I had to be done."
She stays silent.
"You will work for me and I will keep you safe. It was your mom's last wish. If anyone gives you a problem let me know and they will immediately be handled."
She lets out a small cry.
"I will try to make life good for you."
