LL: Daddy can you come play Barbie with me?

L: Non not right now baby. Play by youself right now Daddy come later.

LL: *sigh* Okaaay.

Lilo sat back down with her overly large Tutu covering her bottom. As she continued to walk her dolls up and down the coffee table Larry sat at the dining table with the receipt in his hand. The receipt that Jada and her friends left for him, along with a fat 100 dollar tip. It had all their numbers on it and he was specifically looking at Jada's. He was debating on whether or not he wanted to give her a call. At that time he was reflecting back on he and Lau's conversation after they left.

Lau: Okay bro this what you do. You give her a call and thank her for you tip, then that's when you be like so, what are you doing this weekend?

L: Lau I cant ask her what she doing this weekend, she might be busy.

Lau: Uuuh. Yea, busy with you! (slaps shoulder)

L: Ahaha!

Lau: Ahaha! Seriously bro just call her, the worst that could happen is she don't answer.

'He's right, if she no answer its no big deal I call later.' Larry thought. So without hesitating any further he punched in her number with all confidence but got interrupted by Lilo.

LL: DADDY!!!

Larry dropped his phone from Lilo's scream. Jumping up he ran into the living room and was met by her around the corner. She was shielding her eyes and crying. "Baby what is it?!" he asked as he leaned down to her. "Daddy! It-Its a buuuuug!!! Help daddy kill it!" she screamed. Larry kept shushing and trying to console her. He knew he was on daddy duty but he couldn't help but have some sense of upsetness from not being able to call Jada.

The next day was a relatively normal day. Larry worked the morning shift and got off at an appropriate time. Picking up Lilo wasn't a hassle like usual. Not only did he pick her up on time but he also had enough money to pay Mrs. Helen for the past two weeks, even in advance for next week. He couldn't help but smile on the way home.

Larry laid Lilo down in his bed again for the night. It was a habit he'd been meaning to break. But pushing that thought out of his head he decided now was a good time to give Jada a call. It was about to be 9 so he was sure she still had to be awake. Punching in the number once again he took a deep but quiet sigh and pressed the call button.

With each ring his heart beat faster, until she picked up.

J: Hello?

L: ....(nervous look)

J: Um hello?

L: ..He-hello! *cough* Um Jada, its um Larry.

J: Larry! Hey, ha I was wondering when you were gonna call me. Hey how are you?

L: Um im good. Just put my baby to sleep.

J: Aww how sweet. I just put my son to bed too. He had a lot of energy today I don't know what they be feeding him ha.

L: Oh, you got a kid too?

J: Yea, I do. My son's name is Jaylen. He's 4.

L: Aww cool.

J: Yea he's my little man.

After another 20 minutes Larry and Jada were having a full on conversation. And believe it or not, the more and more they talked Larry became less and less nervous. They had talked about their lives up to this point, childhood and favorite things. They shared a joke or two with each other as well. By now Larry was on the couch laying down on his back. One leg bent while the other relaxed, just chillin. Jada on the other hand was laying on her stomach twirling her hair and smiling.

J: I could just listen to you talk all night.

L: (smile) Really?

J: Yea, hey you know what I have an idea.

L: Wassup?

J: Maybe one weekend when you have a break you, me and the kids can spend time together. Maybe go to Chuckie Cheese and then the park or something? Just so the kids have something to do and while their occupied we can talk more.

L: (smile) Yes. That sounds perfect. I think me and my baby would like that.

Jada and Larry ironed out the details about the weekends events. After that was done they said their goodbyes and hung up. Until next time.
