Me and Emily are sat in my room watching her favourite Disney film 'The Little Mermaid'. We aren't together yet but we've been on good terms for almost 2 weeks and I hope it stays that way. My phone buzzes that is on my bedside table, I pick it up to see a message from Noel. Me and Noel have been best friends for ages so when I broke up with him he didn't take it too hard and we are still friends.
"omg em!" I shout jumping up and down excitedly.
She ignores me, still focusing on the film.
"emilyyy"
"yeah?" Emily replies.
"come with me to a party tonight?"
"Ali, no."
Emily isn't a party person, I've invited her to so many but she's turned down all of them, she would rather stay inside with a takeaway and watch black and white films.
"Em, pleaseeeee" I say pouting my lips, giving her the puppy eyes. I've been using this trick since I could remember, it works like a charm.
"Ali don't give me the puppy eyes."
I pout again.
"ugh fine but I'm not staying there all night."
Told you it worked.
"yayyy" I shout, smirking.
"the party is in a two hours, so get your ass up and get ready"
She turns around facing the T.V again.
"after this film finishes"
"no Em c'mon" I cry pulling her up off the bed. I go to the closet and grab a blue dress that would hug her curves perfectly.

"isn't that a bit too much?" she asks looking scared. I don't know why she's so insecure about her body, she is beyond perfect.
"Hell no, you'll look hot. Now put it on" I pass it to her and she goes to the bathroom.
I look in the closet and wonder what I could wear, "ahh this will be perfect" I think to myself. I grab a short pink dress, I quickly put it on and look in the mirror and peer at all the flaws that my body has to offer.

"You look beautiful, Ali." I turn around and see Emily stood in the blue dress I gave her, and must I say she looks stunning. How did I get so lucky to be friends with such a beautiful human being.
