Family Reunion

The girls had two months left of school and Alison was determined to get good grades, all of the studying and taking care of Emily was exhausting, sure Emily was drinking less and she was going to school but Emily was still struggling even though she wouldn't admit it. Alison was tired, the black circles under her eyes gave it away even when she applied makeup to try and cover it. Currently, Alison was in the library studying for English, Hanna walked in and finally "found" Alison. "Ali, I've been looking for you everywhere! You missed lunch" Hanna called. Alison closed her book and replied "I'm not hungry, Han" Hanna rolled her eyes and sat next to her best friend. "Al, you haven't eaten, you need to eat something." Alison shifted in her chair awkwardly, she knew she had to eat but she needed to study. Alison checked her phone and saw that she now has a free period "I don't but you know what i do need.." Alison began whilst picking up her books and shoving them in her bag, ".. A cig"

Alison texted Emily asking if she wanted anything from the brew. Just a cup of coffee, babe. Emily replied. Alison walked there for some fresh air whilst smoking her second cigarette. When she finally reached the brew she ordered her's and Emily's coffee. "Alison?" Ali whipped her head around to see a tall man with hair down to his shoulders and a beard. He had bright blue eyes like Alison's. No fucking way, Alison thought. "Jason?" Alison breathed. The older sibling nodded. "I-I.. Where.. H-How are you?" Alison stuttered out. She hasn't seen her brother in years and she didn't think she would be having a family reunion anytime soon. "I'm good, i've actually been looking for you" Jason smiled. "For me? Why?" Alison asked whilst grabbing her and Emily's coffee. "Well, i know that you've been living in rosewood since... Anyways, i've just gotten out of rehab and i wanted to see you" Alison's felt a pain in her chest. Her brother was the only one who understood her out of her family and he's actually here. The last time Alison saw him he was crying and shouting at their father whilst Alison was being driven off to Radley. Alison pushed all of the bad thoughts to the back of her mind and hugged her brother. At first Jason was shocked, he assumed he would get a slap in the face and a ear full from her little sister. He melted into the hug and whispered "I'm sorry".

"Have you seen mom and dad since you came out of Radley?" Jason asked. "No, i've been on my own since then" Alison replied. "Well not completley alone, i have friends and someone else.." Jason's eyes lit up. "Oh my god, who's the lucky girl?" Alison laughed, she was so happy that someone from her family accepted who she is. "Well... It's not official but her names Emily and i think.. I think i love her Jason" Alison froze and accidentally let the cup of coffee to slip from her grip but before it landed on the ground Jason caught it. "Oh shit" I love her, Alison thought. "Have you told her?" Jason asked handing Alison her coffee back. "No, should I?" Jason let out a laugh and shook his head. "Of course you should!" Alison didn't reply, what if Emily didn't say it back. Alison was so scared of love, to the point of where she tought herself to not love anybody and just be cruel. But Emily has changed her, she's a better person now, the brunette has taught her to love again but what if that certain brunette doesn't return her love? "I'll think about it Jason" Alison murmered.

Where are you? I miss you, Alison checked her phone to see a message from Emily. She smiled at the screen and replied Almost home, i also have a guest. Emily's heart clenched at the word home, that's what Alison was to her, Alison was her home. Her eyes focused on the word 'guest', who was she bringing? Was it a girl? A new friend? Emily shaked her head from the worrying questions and waited for Alison to come home. 10 minutes later Alison walked through the front door, Emily quickly greeted her with a hug. "I missed you" Alison felt a smile creep on to her face. "I missed you too" Alison giggled. "I have someone for you meet" Emily felt panic grow and a sick feeling appeared in her stomach. "Emily.. This is my big brother Jason" Alison turned around and Emily felt the panic and sick feeling stop, He looked so much like Ali. "Wow, you look so a like it's uncanny" Emily claimed. "Yeah, expect this bush you've got going on" Alison giggled whilst brushing Jason's beared. "Hi, Emily. It's nice to meet you" Jason beamed.
