"What's the plan for today?" Alison asked. She was sat on Emily's bed whilst the brunette was applying her makeup.
"I don't know, you choose" Emily replied, adding on her mascara.
"Emmm" The blonde groaned. "You know I'm shit at choosing what to do"
The brunette laughed and shook her head. "How about we meet up with the girls?"
It's been a week since Emily confessed her undying love for the blonde. Everything was amazing and so was Alison, the brunette still couldn't believe it actually happened.
"Yes, oh my god. Okay so we can have a movie night, We'll go shopping and buy loads of fatty foods. Maybe we can get a few movies too or..." The blonde's voice trailed off has she walked out of Emily's bedroom and downstairs to find her phone. The brunette chuckled and finished applying her makeup. God, she wishes she had a glass of whiskey in her hand right now.
It was an internal battle when it came to Emily and alcohol. She felt like she was at war with her mind and sometimes she was losing. But, luckily for her, she had her blue-eyed girlfriend helping her.
"Babe" Alison shouted from the living room. "What time should the girls come round"
The brunette took a deep breath, trying to rid the negative thoughts from her mind. "Um, 6 pm?"
Emily heard Alison's footsteps grow quieter as she walked into the kitchen.
You can do this, just get through the day without a drink. You'll be okay. Emily thought to herself whilst walking downstairs.
"Cmon, babe. Time to go shopping"
Alison was so cheerful today, Emily couldn't help the smile that crept up on her face. But the smile vanished quicker than it came. Emily felt her phone buzz and panic started to grow inside of her whenshe saw the message that appeared on her screen.
Enjoy today, Emily. Soon your world will come crashing down.
It was from a blocked number. Emily shoved her phone into the back pocket of her black jeans and decided to ignore it. It's probably just a prank, right?
Short chapter but i'm getting back into the swing of things with writing.
