so guys before I start this chapter I'm changing the POV, there will no longer be a "Emily's POV" or "Alison's POV". I've been reading a lot of fanfics (more than I usually do) every night, it's quite tragic considering I stay up till 4am reading emison fanfics smh. Anyways, I've learnt a lot more about fanfics and how I should stage them etc. I prefer writing with no POV, if you're confused then just read this chapter and you'll understand. Hope you enjoy, don't forget to favourite and comment!

"Em, wake up." Alison nudges Emily gently trying not to hurt her poorly injured body.
"What?" Emily mumbles.
"Time for your speech class with your Dr." Alison told her.
"M-My speech is f-fine." Emily stutters.
"Sure it is, now do you want any help getting dressed?"
Emily feels a ball of anxiety form in the pit of her stomach. I can't show her my body? It's messed up, she'll be scarred for life. Emily thinks to herself.
"Em?"
"I uh I-" Emily's heart suddenly beats quickly and her breaths get shorter.
"Oh my god, em breathe." Ali says whilst putting her hands on top of Emily's shoulders gently.
She's going to be so disgusted. Emily says over and over again in her head.
"Emily, I'm here. Focus on my breathing please." Alison says calmly. On the inside Ali is panicking but she knows in order for Emily's panic attack to stop she needs to be calm and collected.
"In and out. Focus, Emily." it's just her luck that Alison knows exactly what to do or say, Emily doesn't know and neither does anyone else but Alison suffers from anxiety herself, so Alison knows what Emily is going through.
"Keep focusing on my breathing, Em." Ali says.
A few minutes later Emily has calmed down by Alison's choice of words and gentle hugs.
Now would you like to tell me what your panic attack was over?"
Emily's eyes widen. She's going to be so mad, Emily thinks
"It's okay. Take your time. I'm listening." Alison's words calm her down again.
"Y-You. Seeing. M-Me." Emily gestures at her body.
Alison catches on quickly. "Ohh. Emily, you shouldn't worry. I promise you I won't judge your body, I bet it's still beautiful" Emily gives her small smile and nods.
"A-Alison?"
"Yeah?"
"W-What are we?" Emily asks. Clearly talking about there friendship.
"Whatever you want to be" Alison smirks.
Emily nods. Am I ready to be in a relationship? Is Ali playing me? What if I'm just an experiment to her? All these questions run wild in Emily's head as she carefully sits up and grabs the outfit that Alison has laid out for her.
----
Alison helps Emily out of her car and into the clinic. There they sign in and wait for Emily's doctor to call her.
5 minutes pass and Emily's name is finally called.
"So Emily how are you feeling?"
How does Emily even answer that question?
"Like c-crap" she answers honestly.
"Well that's understandable." He replies.
"So, I know you're here for your speech class with me but I just want to talk to you about your injuries and other... stuff."
"What other stuff?" Alison butts in.
"Just a talk about PTSD and other things that don't concern you." He answers back.
Alison tries to interject but Emily places her hand on top of Ali's to calm her down.
"A-All due respect S-S-Sir, whatever concerns me c-concerns A-Ali."
"Okay then."
"So, after a traumatic incident like that it is bound to cause PTSD. You know what that is right?" He asks.
"Yes, it's an anxiety disorder caused by very stressful, frightening or distressing events."
"Correct. Medications that are usually used to help PTSD sufferers include serotonergic antidepressants. There are side effects but it's only minor ones, headaches and nausea."
Emily nods.
"We'll also be giving you Zopiclone which is a sleeping drug, you'll be finding it hard to sleep and this drug will help you." The doctor explained.
"Is there anything else?" Emily asks nervously.
"That's all. Now let's get started with your speech class."
----
An hour later, Emily and Alison arrive at Emily's house.
"How are you feeling?" Alison asks.
"Tired" today was a hard day for Emily. Going to the doctors, finding out she has PTSD, walking around in crutches. It was just too exhausting.
"I can make you some food and you can lie on the couch?" Alison offers.
"Sure."
"I'll be right back." Alison walks into the kitchen, feeds Emily's dog and prepares their meal. Alison is glad she gets to take care of Emily, she'll be able to feel closer to her again.

Thank you for reading. I know a lot about Emily and Alison's illnesses, not PTSD but anxiety and depression I'm educated on. I'll update soon:)
