Chapter 12 - Ishikawa Family Reunion

"Ce était un plaisir de voir que vous maîtrisez nouveau!" came the ecstatic reply from Mayu, she was wearing her usual maid uniform as Ichiro Oshiro left. He waved to her and she smiled at him while turning around, everyone had complimented her necklace, she always touched it affectionately, and when someone asked about it, she simply winked and shimmied at them. She placed the coffee with the Belzeneff marshmallow in front of Umehito, he thanked her, "Soyez le bienvenu maître!"

"You're getting better Bun Bun!"

"Merci!" He laughed while she returned to waiting on her other patrons, they were all happy to see that she was fine, and they noticed she was ever more joyful after the holidays but it was only between holidays as the new year was coming up. She was excited for it and there were many reasons for it, she wore a big grin on her face that made her single eye twinkle, and her step held more grace. Mayu was waiting for the Hiitachin Twins to arrive at the cafe or to at least text her the location of their meeting. So she refilled everyone's coffee, served Umehito's cheesecake, and then looked towards the door as the bell rang. Mayu took the pot to the back, the moment that she disappeared, Kaoru and Hikaru entered, they looked around for Mayu, and Mori waved them over.

They took a seat with him and Kaoru asked, "Where's Mayu?"

"In the back." They nodded as she re-emerged with menus in her hands for them, she placed them down, and asked them what they would like. Kaoru was in shock at her appearance, "You look so different!"

She chuckled, "Merci maître."

Hikaru smiled, "I'll take a latte."

"Cappucino."

"Ce est merveilleux d'entendre!" They chuckled at her enthusiasm as they said they didn't want anything to eat, so she took the menus, and disappeared to make the drinks. Mori always watched her and the twins watched him, they grinned to one another while Umehito was only a table behind them, watching them as well. She returned with their drinks, the latte held a beautiful rosette and the cappucino was layered perfectly with a dash of cinnamon on top . "Enjoy!"

"We will Bun Bun," said Hikaru. It was then that she placed the contract on the table for them, he looked at it, then looked up at her, and she nodded while hopping away to serve others. Quickly he opened it up to see that she had signed it, "Kaoru! She signed it!" The other twin leaned over and nodded with a smile while they looked at Mori. Hikaru handed the contract to Kaoru, who put it away safely in his jacket pocket, and he asked, "So when are you getting her a ring?"

"Too early."

"No it's not. We heard that you two are an arranged marriage so why not get her one now?"

"Not ready."

"Is it her or you?" Mori's eyes stared at Hikaru who judged him, Kaoru shook his head while the taller male kept silent. "So it's you."

"I don't want to rush her."

"You always were the best romantic Mori," chimed in Kaoru. He only shrugged which made them laugh, "It's okay to wait. But she's our model now and she'll get more press and she'll have her tea shop too. Are you going to help her?"

"Of course."

"That's good to hear because we're going to make her wedding dress!"

Mayu popped up behind the two and whispered, "Ren, our chef in the kitchen makes all of our cosplay outfits. Perhaps you could enlist her to help?" Kaoru handed her a contact card and told her to give him a call, "Many thanks maître. It is most appreciated!" He nodded as she bound off to the kitchen to give Ren the good news, the woman poked her head, looked at the twins who waved to her, and she squealed in joy while disappearing once more. Mayu returned wearing a big grin on her face as the patrons began to pay and leave. As it winded down, she set everything up for Thumper, Mayu took a breath then headed into the back, she undressed, changed, and ruffled her hair while removing her makeup for the store. She emerged wearing a green flannel, jeans, boots, rustic gloves with the matching hat, and her tweed coat. "Thank you for the hard work everyone!" When she paused by Kairi, she asked, "Why did you put cosplay on Monday?"
