Chapter 17 - Reiko and Mayu

Chapter 17 - Reiko and Mayu

Chateau Bunny was all a buzz with the information that Mayu had told them, they told her to be strong, and she was always smiling at them, happy to have their friendship but they were buzzing more about the radio interview that she was going to do soon. "I'm so excited! Give me the details, I want to listen to it!" exclaimed Ren.

"Of course! As soon as I find out, you'll find out, and I think it's going to be live; so that'll be really fun!"

Everyone agreed but it was Saki who interjected, "You need to have some fun Mayu."

"I know, Yue is picking me up Saturday for drinks. He said that I need it and today I'm going to learn how to box."

"I'm glad. Yue is a good person and so are your friends."

"I know, they're all so sweet including you guys!"

Kairi grinned as they hugged one another, "Mayu, you only attract the brightest of friends. From now on, until he gets back, we're going to break out all the stops for Cosplay Monday and Friday."

Ren stared at her, "What do you mean?"

"This Friday is Lolita Bunnies, so make sure you make them as alluring and sultry as possible. Until Mori gets back, our sole mission twice a week is to make him as jealous as possible that he can't see her in person."

"You really are devilish!"

"I think Mayu is more so than myself." Everyone looked at her, she held a gleam in her eye, "She acts all cutsy but we all know that the sun has it's solar flares and so does Mayu." The others grinned while she winked at them, they got changed, and began to work. Kairi noticed that she was more seductive than before, craning in a little more here, a light touch there, and the regular patrons knew what was wrong, they didn't see her guardian anywhere but she still wore his necklace and ring. Yoshi entered, she greeted him even more warmly than before, he sat down, glanced around, and he sighed but was reassured by Mayu that everything was going to be fine.

"Okay but I'll take you where ever you want to go from now on. I've got a car and I don't want you walking."

"Mercei beaucoup maitre." He smiled at her while she went to retrieve his usual order, he watched as she bounded around with more energy than he had seen, and he let out a breath. He pulled out his phone, texted Ritsu then added that the single ray of light had burst into a thousand rays, and it didn't seem like it was going to stop until everything was bathed in its golden light. Mayu had noticed, she swung by, rubbed his shoulder, and he smiled up at her. "I'm going to bounce back a lot faster than him and he's going to regret leaving at a time like this."

"Really?" She nodded, "What do you plan on doing?" Mayu fluffed her hair out to partially reveal her other eye and winked at him then turned and shimmied. Yoshi laughed, "You really are devilish!" She grinned, shimmied again then headed off to attend her other patrons. Although that day was far more entertaining as she had some fans come in, females looked around until they saw her, and squealed. "Oh, fans are here!"

She bounded up to them, "Hello Mistresses, how may I help you?"

"We'd like your autograph!"

"Ah but I cannot at the moment. I'm working."

Their faces fell, "If you'd like you can come back in three hours and wait outside, I'll be ready for you."

"Really?"
