Chapter 14: He Wants You

Faith's pov.

I don't know what's wrong with Chris but I need to know.

" I will be right back. "

I tell him softly and I'm about to go when he grabs my wrist.

" It's ok I'm coming right back. "

I tell him and eventually he lets go. I walk into the living room where my parents are.

" Mom somethings wrong with Chris. "

I tell her and she looks even more worried then I do. Does she know something I don't?

She follows me to my room and sees Chris in the corner.

" I'm so sorry Taylor. "

He tells my mom and her eyes go wide.

" What's going on? "

I ask.

" Can I talk to her alone? "

Chris ask my mom finally saying something besides sorry.

" Yes. "

My mom says mindlessly and walks out shutting the door. I sit down next to Chris again.

" I need to tell you about my past. "

Flashback----------------------------------
Chris's pov.

I get home from another boring day of high school and surprisingly my mom isn't at the front door waiting for me.

That's odd.

I walk into her bedroom to see if she's sick and I find a man covering her mouth and he's on top of her trying to take her clothes off and he's kissing her neck.

" Get the hell off of my mom! "

I yell furiously at him and go to pull him off of her but he pushes me away so hard that I fall hitting my head so hard that I black out.

I wake up and immediately jump up ready to fight the basterd but he's gone and I stare at my moms lifeless naked body feeling guilt take over. I rush out of the room to call my dad but then I see him laying dead on the floor as well.

He killed my parents.

I feel a pain in my neck and I touch it wincing i look in the mirror across the room and see bite marks.

He thought I died.

Faith's pov.

" He thought that I was dead so he left me alive but not to long ago he saw me and figured out that I'm a vampire. He doesn't let his victims live so he didn't like that. He followed me and was going to kill me but.....he saw you. He talked to me today and....and he's after you now. "

Chris explains and starts crying again.

" It's all my fault I couldn't protect my parents and now he's going after you. "

" Chris this isn't your fault none of this is your fault. "

I tell him and pull him into a hug.

I've never wanted to kill anyone but now I really want to kill the guy who put him threw this.
