Chapter 28: Faith's First Party

Faith's pov.

We get to the party and walk in with the smell of alcohol slapping me in the face along with the blasting music. There's people every where and to my horror I see some guy pinning a girl to the wall and drinking her blood.

He's not the only one doing this either.

I suddenly wish that I had stayed home where it's safer but decide not to leave since I'm already here. I look and notice that TJ and Sam have already disappeared.

Well this can't be good.

I feel body heat near me like what happens when someone stands way to close to you and I turn to see some random guy sniffing my neck.

" Mind if I have a bite? "

He ask smirking and is about to bite me when I'm pulled away.

" She's with me. "

I hear Sam say.

" Such a shame, such a pretty girl with such a ugly mutt, call me if you want someone with more experience. "

The vampire winks and runs off.

" Thanks for that. "

I say awkwardly.

" No problem I hate vampires their nothing more then leeches with hormones. "

" Not all of them. "

I mutter.

" Want to dance? "

He ask me.

" Um I don't know how. "

I say, blushing and biting my lip shyly.

" Don't worry, I can show you. "

He smiles at me making me feel slightly better and takes my hand leading me to the crowd where everyone's dancing.

I stand there awkwardly and Sam puts his hands on my waist and I'm confused at first until I see others doing the same thing so I copy their movements and start swaying to the music.

Am I even doing this right? I hope I don't look like a drunk chicken or anything.

I don't even notice how close I am to Sam until I feel something poke me.

" Want to go upstairs? "

He whispers in my ear and I quickly realize what had poked me. I'm about to move back when I'm pulled back by someone else and the next thing I know I'm in the bathroom with Chris.

( Chris carried her at vampire speed and then put her down but he was so fast that she didn't know what was going on. )

" Thanks for that I was going to move but I'm glad- "

" How could you do that to me? "

" Do what? "

" You had sex with him Faith! "

I can feel my face turn red.

" Oh, that how do you know? "

" Yes that and I have vampire hearing I heard your whole conversation! "

I don't say anything. I don't really know what to say I just stand there awkwardly.

" How could you do that to me? I waited so long for you and you- "

" I'm human how was I suppose to know I had a beloved? It's not my fault!"

I yell frustrated.

" I guess it's also not your fault that you were about to have sex with that mutt again before I stepped in huh? "

He spat at me.

" I wasn't going to have sex with him I was going to decline! "

" And how am I suppose to believe that? "

" Because you should trust me enough to make the right decision! "

He sighs frustrated.

" It's not you that I don't trust Faith it's the entire male population that I don't trust. You wonder why your family and me are so protective? It's because your so damn gorgeous and you don't even know it. "

He says sounding even more frustrated.
