Faith's pov.
My heart hurts for my brother and Vanessa. I never knew that Vanessa was in love with him, I just thought she was a crazy fan girl.
" I'm sorry you don't have to go to the party if you don't want to. "
I tell TJ when we get inside the house drenched from the rain.
" No it's ok I will go with you I need to try to get over her anyway. "
He walks to his room shutting the door and I know he's breaking down behind that door but TJ doesn't like people to see him when he's weak. It's best to leave him in peace.
I walk into my room going to pick out clothes to wear to the party but I stop dead in my tracks when I see Chris in the corner of my room siting on the floor hugging his knees.
I walk over to him and sit down but he doesn't notice me.
" Chris? "
I ask softly and his head shot up looking at me with his face covered in tears.
" What's wrong? "
I ask him my heart breaking at the sight before me. He never cries.
He looks at me not saying anything as tears continue to fall from his eyes. He suddenly pulls me into a hug and I'm shocked but I hug him back as he sobs into my shoulder.
" I'm so sorry Faith. "
He tells me hugging me closer and crying even harder.
" It's okay Chris just tell me what's wrong. "
I plead trying not to cry with him.
" I'm so sorry. "
Is all he says and he repeats it over and over again.
