Chapter 41: Stop Running

Faith's pov.

Ok so I don't know why I'm turned on so much right now. I mean a guy drizzling his blood on me shouldn't turn me on even if the guy is hot but I guess I'm weirder then I thought.

I see his eyes turn even darker then before and I know him well enough by now to know its lust.

" Faith stop. "

" I'm not doing anything. "

" I can smell how turned on you are although I don't know why. "

I blush biting my lip.

The next thing I know his lips are pressed forcefully against mine but I don't even attempt to reject him.

" I told you that biting your lip drives me crazy. "

He says in between kisses.

" But we really should stop. "

He says as I pull him on top of me on my bed.

" Why? Don't you want me? "

I ask kissing his neck.

" Trust me I have never craved anything so bad in my entire life but I don't want to hurt you. "

He tells me and starts getting up but I pull him back down.

" Faith what are you doing? "

" The real question is what are we doing? One second were friends the next were kissing and then I don't see you for days I can't keep going on like this Chris what are we? "

He looks at me with sad eyes and rolls over so he's next to me instead of on top of me.

" I'm your protector that's all this is. "

I laugh and sit up to look at him.

" I know mom and dad hired you to protect me but I'm smart enough to know I'm more then just a job to you and your more then just some body guard to me. "

" Maybe you do mean more to me then just a job but that doesn't matter because we can never be together the way we want to be. "

" Yes, but only because you refuse to even consider it for a second! You lead me on and then you reject me and it's not fair! Not to me and not to us! "

" Faith I would only hurt you. "

" You already are! All I want is to be with you, is that to much to ask? "

" A vampire and human can't be together Faith it's impossible. "

" Only because you are making it impossible! "

I roll over so I'm on top of him and I start kissing his neck.

" You can't tell me you don't feel the shock waves and pleasure between us. "

I say in between kisses and I feel him get stiff trying to hold himself back.

" Let's be honest how many times have we been in this position? A lot and how many times have one of us left? All of them but you can't run away from fate and we are meant to be together you are my beloved and I am yours and eventually one of us isn't going to have the will to leave and we're going to have sex and it's going to be mind blowing so why not just skip to the part where you stop running away from me?
