" Chris what's wrong? "
Faith ask me again looking worried.
Should I tell her? I've always wanted to find my beloved and now that I have I'm scared to tell her. What if she rejects me and just thinks of me as her uncle or something? After all I have taken care of her, her whole life.
" Chris please say something. "
I need to tell her though she deserves to know. I sigh and walk over to her sitting next to her.
" Has your mom ever told you about beloveds? "
" No. "
She says, looking completely confused at my random topic.
" What about mates? "
" Yes but what does that have to do with anything? "
" Well vampires have a person called their beloved and it's basically their mate they usually find their beloved on their eighteenth year as a vampire and-"
I stop dead in my sentence.
Eighteenth year as a vampire.
It's her eighteenth birthday.
" And what? "
She ask.
" Your mom was made with a vampire gene you must have inherited that gene. "
I say, more talking to myself then to her.
" How do you know? It's not like I've shown any signs of being a vampire. "
She tells me laughing like it's crazy. I take her hand in mine and immediately feel shock waves flow threw me and she gasp feeling it too.
" I know because you're my beloved. "
I tell her leaning my forehead into hers.
" I know you can't smell my scent or look into my eyes and feel the connection since your human but you can feel the shock waves. "
I tell her but she doesn't say anything.
Is she going to reject me?
