Chapter 15: Combat Training

The next day~ Faith's pov.

I ended up not going to the party I couldn't leave Chris like that. I'm done getting ready for school when Chris walks in.

" I'm going to school with you today to make sure your safe. "

He tells me and there's no arguing about this. We get to school and he follows closely behind me like a body guard.

"Hey I didn't see you or your brother at the party yesterday why? "

Vanessa ask me walking up.

" I had things to do. "

I say shrugging and she glares at me taking a step closer but then Chris steps in front of me.

" Who are you? "

She ask him.

" Your worst nightmare if you hurt Faith at all. "

She glares at me then walks off.

" Thanks for that. "

I tell him.

" No problem what's your first class? "

" Combat training. "

We walk silently to the locker rooms and I expect him to wait outside but he follows me in.

" You're not suppose to be in here! "

A girl yells at him.

" Does it look like I care? "

He ask calmly and her face flushes white.

" Can you at least turn around? "

I ask him and he does. I quickly change into my combat clothes and we walk out into the gym.

" You aren't in my class? "

My teacher says looking at Chris.

" I've been instructed by the Alpha to keep an eye on his daughter. "

Chris says and the teacher nods respectfully.

" Very well, just don't interrupt and we will get along just fine. "

He nods and takes a seat next to me.

" Ok class today we will be pairing up boys and girls will be fighting against each other today. "

He starts pairing people up.

" Faith you will be paired with Vance. "

I look to see who Vance is and it's the same guy who tried to drink my blood in the locker rooms.

" Try anything and your dead. "

Chris tells him calmly.

I walk over to Vance and get into fighting position waiting for the teacher to tell us to start.

" 1...2.....3.....GO! "

As soon as the teacher yells " go " Vance has me pinned down to the mat.

" I don't know why they let you go to this school, you're just another useless human. "

He spat at me as I try my best to get out of his grip but fail.

" Okay that's enough. "

The teacher tells Vance and he gets up along with me, the only difference is that he's the smug one.

" Faith why don't you just sit today out?"

I'm hurt by the teachers words but I don't argue and I head to the locker rooms to change. I look at my bruised wrist and sigh, suddenly someone takes my hands in theirs and I look up to see Chris looking at my bruises.

What he does next I couldn't believe.
