Faith's pov.
" So are you going to Vanessa's party? "
I ask TJ as were in his truck on our way home from school. It's raining harder then I thought possible!
" Not sure I mean I love party's but Vanessa's party......yeah not so sure about that. "
" Will you please go so I can go? "
He sighs glancing at me.
" Do you even know what happened between us? "
" She's crazy so you dumped her? "
He laughs.
" No surprisingly that's not the reason."
" Then what's the reason? "
I ask confused.
" She's to dangerous for me to date. I can handle it but if anything happened to any of my family I wouldn't be able to handle the guilt. "
Flashback----------------------------------
" Who was she! "
Vanessa yells.
" She's just a friend okay? We were talking am I not allowed to talk to other girls? "
" If their related to you then you can! "
" We were talking what's so wrong about that? "
" She was basically drooling over you! "
She screams at me and my bed catches on fire.
" Vanessa calm down. "
I say lowering my voice.
" How can I calm down? Can't you see how paranoid I am that your going to find someone else and leave me? "
She says crying and suddenly it starts raining in my room putting the fire out.
" Vanessa- "
I say starting to walk towards her.
" Don't come near me! "
She yells and suddenly a huge gust of wind blows me back making me hit the wall hard. I wince in pain.
" Oh my gosh I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt you! "
She tells me and it stops raining.
" Vanessa I'm sorry but... I think we should break up. "
I say my heart breaking with each word.
" What...is it because of that girl? "
" No it's just....this isn't the first time this has happened what if you hurt someone else like my family? "
I see hurt flash across her face.
" I love you Vanessa but I can't put them in danger. "
She bites her trembling lip and the next thing I know she's gone.
End of flashback--------------------------
" You two still love each other? "
" Yes a lot. "
" Then why do you two act so harshly towards each other? "
" We can't get attached to each other again so it's best to try to hate each other then to attempt to become friends and end up loving each other even more then we already do. "
