"Mph, Iko, move over, I can't sleep." Cinder was tossing and turning in her bed, seeking comfort in my Iko. She kept having nightmares about kai, about Levana, so she called up Iko, and pleaded to accompany her during sleep. "What's your problem cinder?" Asked an annoyed Iko, who was obviously in deep sleep. After an hour of argument, she finally gave in. "Ok, fine. I'll be there. Wait for me." Although she had her friend for support, she couldn't sleep. All her thoughts revolved around Kai. Kai. What if Levana killed him? This was the nagging doubt in her mind. She got up from her bed, and gazed at the full moon. It was beautiful.

What would he be doing right now? She wondered. The more she thought about him, the more she got distressed. And every time she looked at the moon, she saw the face of her beloved. Correction. She saw the face of Kai. She glanced at Iko, sleeping peacefully on her bed. "She won't wake up until tomorrow morning." She muttered to herself. She put forward her wishes and thoughts. She wanted to see Kai right Now. She wanted to make sure that he was okay. She wanted to Gaze at his lovely toned face. She wants to....' But her thoughts was interrupted as her mind glowed brightly. (An idea;😉) I want to visit him, she thought. NOW. She dressed up quickly, and made sure that everything was okay. Instead of using the front gate, she jumped through the window of her bedroom. Now, she was under the full moon, walking stealthily towards the palace. She would see Kai, come what may, she thought, as she walked. KAI POV I gazed at the beautiful full moon, hoping she will be safe, be away from any danger that awaits her. Every time I see the moon, her face appears like magic. I sighed. I tried sleeping, but today, sleep was punishing me. I simply couldn't get my mind off her, hoping and hoping that she wouldn't be in danger. And, how nice would it be if she would come and see me now? Ugh, what am I thinking? If anything is dangerous now, her arrival would be the most dangerous. Tap tap tap. I froze in my spot. That was surely someone walking in my direction. I turned around. "Levana." "Kai." "What are you doing here?" "I may ask you the same question, prince." I groaned. Already I have problems to worry about, and her presence made things even more complicated. "Go to sleep Levana. You shouldn't be here in this hour." "I asked you a question." "See here, I couldn't sleep. So I came here to grab some fresh air. Enough?" I asked her gruffly. "Oh. So, the cause of your sleeplessness is that girl you were talking to, right?" My hear skipped a beat. "Wha..what girl are you talking about?" "Don't you fake innocence, prince. I know what you've been doing." Oh my. This conversation perhaps is my most dreaded one. "Look here, she is just a friend, okay? Please don't harm her." I chose my words carefully, to make sure she wouldn't get angry. "That depends on your actions, prince. Whether I harm her or not lies in your hands." She said, smiling. Ugh, I hate her. "I'm going now, but if she tries any mischief today, that'll be the end of her. So say this to your girlfriend." She said as she walked away. I slumped to the ground. Why she has to be this difficult? Now, cinder have to be warned regarding this. I stood up and gazed at the night sky, at the stars. I watched the opposite buildings, I looked down at the road. I.... Crack. Thud. Someone running towards the palace. Trying to get inside.

Who was that? I looked on, confused. All I saw was black. A black image of a person, and The person was obviously running away. Perhaps he/she was spotted by some royal guard. My heart was beating like crazy. Perhaps this person was a robber or a thief? I turned around. But my instinct told me that I was somehow accustomed with him/her. I have decided. I'm going to find out. UNKNOWN POV I gasped for breath, and stopped running. I kept running for five minutes, and I didn't get the chance to admire the beauty of this palace. I stopped gasping (at last) and looked around. It was beautiful. But I don't have time. I have to find.... I started running again, this time, towards the palace. Hi readers!
