Kai POV
I saw the widespread crowd, and the security guards trying to restrain the gathering to one place. The podium was being set up by scarlet. "Move out of the way, Thorne! Your blocking my way!" And yes, all of our friends were the same old idiots - scarlet still hot tempered, Thorne still being idiotic and funny, wolf the same old softie, cress the shy girl, Iko the fan girl and most importantly Cinder - there's no words to describe how happy I am to be with her. The sarcastic, gentle girl, who with her kindness and outspokenness captured my heart as soon as I laid my eyes on her.

She didn't consider me as a prince, or a rich boy, but saw me as me - a plain good looking teenager. That quality of hers had me mind blown. Out of all the difficulties we had, we managed to get through them, and still be together. Overthrowing Levana is one such thing. As soon as Cinder was discharged, Levana was charged with treason and then was decided to put her to death. It was a horrible sight. The whole town was gathered there to watch her die. But all that time, she offered no resistance, instead she just kept looking ahead blankly devoid of the things happening around her. Cinder on the other hand, couldn't bear to see someone's death, and went inside, ordering winter to do the procedure.

At last, the guillotine struck, and Levana's head was severed from her body, still looking blank and emotionless. The crowd looked on, disgusted as her body was taken away and buried. Her last rights were also made by winter, which was also asked by cinder.

(Ok, you may all wonder what would have happened in the last chapter. I'll reveal that now.)
Days before in the hospital, Thorne told me that Cinder was dead. A lie. A filthy lie. That prankster told me a lie that cinder was dead. Scarlet slapped him right after that, and told him to tell the truth. It was merely a prank to get me tell that I loved cinder. Back then, I was confused with my feelings, and about what I wanted. But now, I'm clear - cinder is my life, and I wouldn't change anything.

The stage has been put up by now, and everything's ready. Only Cinder to come out now, and start the speech. The people of Mara (Africa) have arranged themselves neatly, and are waiting patiently for her arrival. All five of us are standing in all four corners waiting. At last, with Iko, she came to the stage, and made her way to the Mike. All of us cheered and clapped and whistled, as well as the people. As though as to not to mess her dress up, she took up her Mike, and started speaking:
"I pay my respects to the people of Mara, and I would like to introduce myself to you all. Although you know me very well, I wanted to start afresh, and end the tyrannical rule of my sister, Levana."  "She would have caused many discomforts and difficulties, for which I would like to apologise for her sake, and I promise I have a good proposal for all of you." The people cheered.  "I had a thought that, after my rule, there would be a problem of choosing a ruler who would be wise, bold and capable of administering the country. So I thought of an idea." "And I need a whole hearted cooperation to bring it to action."  Suddenly, our eyes met, and I quietly urged her on to continue. She nodded slightly. She took a deep breath.
"I've decided to make Mara a democracy."
The crowd busted in cheers, and a huge smile was plastered across Cinder's face. "Thank you! Your enthusiasm is very much appreciated. Before ending my speech, I would like to thank all of my friends here." She gestured all of us, and the five of us stepped out on the stage, and went to stand near Cinder. She first gestured to Thorne. "He is Carswell Thorne, boyfriend of that girl over there." She pointed to cress. "People call his captain for short. He is a great friend of mine, from the start. Although he's very naughty, idiotic and stupid most of the time," she continued.  "We get along to some extent."  People clapped. "Why, thank you Cinder. Glad to hear that from you." He winked, while cinder rolled her eyes.
Typical Thorne.
She pushed him away. "Next comes cress." Cress bounded up forward, nervously.  "Introduce yourself Cress." Cinder whispered in her ear. Cress nodded and gulped. "Um, well... Hi, I'm Cress, and I'm the sister of Cinder." Cinder urged her on. "There's nothing interesting about me, but I can say that I'm very shy, and... I don't get along with others very well, except for the people I'm close with. That's all."
Aww, cress that's the spirit!
We all cheered for her loudly, expressing that we will always be for her in all times. After all the introductions, cinder decided to step out of the stage. "I thank all of you who have patiently heard my speech till the end, and have cooperated with my idea. I assure you that Mara will be a democratic country within a month from now." The crowd dissolved in cheers and claps. "Well, I'll take leave no-"  before she could complete her sentence, Thorne interrupted her.
