"Sybil! Bring here here. I want to see her pathetic face before I'm done with her." Levana ordered as Sybil dragged a very tired cinder to the room. Levana observed her small frame and let out a high pitched laugh. "And this is why I told you to stay out of my business, sister." She said sneeringly. Cinder cocked her head upwards and took a good look at her face. "What the hell did I do to you, levana?" Cinder screeched. "Why are you doing this to me?" "As much as I would like to have a chit chat with you, selene, I have other more important works to do." She continued. "I should be ready to receive your dear loving kai, shouldn't I?" Cinder's face changed from a puzzled look to a horrified one.

"You aren't going to do anything to him, will you?" "That's for me and only me to decide, cinder." Cinder clenched her jaw, as anger seethed through her veins. "Don't you dare hurt him." Levana let out another high pitched laugh. "We'll see about that, cinder." She spat. "Sybil, take her back." Sybil nodded and took hold of both her arms. "You'll pay levana. Evil never wins." "I don't think so."
CRESS POV
So much tension. So much confusion. All because of levana, and her stupid plans. Because of her, poor selene lost her memory and her position. But now, the condition has just worsened. The plan kai has proposed earlier was a good one, but a single mistake in the planning could lead to great disaster. Now we are assembled in front of kai's palace, waiting. "So guys," Thorne started. "This mission is both important and dangerous. Levana could know that we'll rescue cinder, so she'll be on guard." "We should not let ourselves be captured, come what may. I hope you know what you should do." We nodded and he let out a sigh. "Ok, let's go inside."

"I hope all of you know why queen levana has requested your presence." Sybil started. "The queen has a very special announcement for all of us, which I hope will be a pleasant surprise for everyone." Queen Camilia and president Vargas shared a look of worry. "Is this meeting concerned with prince Kaito?" "It will soon be revealed, queen Camilia. Patience is a virtue."
CINDER POV
If there's one word to describe my position, it will most probably be ironical. I don't know where Kai, Thorne, cress and the others are. I don't know what Levana is going to do to me. I don't know whether I would be rescued at all. I've tried everything. I tried breaking the chains, breaking open the window, but no. It wouldn't budge. All I could do was sit there pathetically until someone comes here to fetch me. I'm sitting now, wondering what to do next, what to plan. I guess I could do-- My think was cut short by the sound of clattering shoes. I heard intently, hm. It is shoes.

The sound became louder until it came to a standstill outside my cell door. A clanging noise was heard, and I guess some guard is opening the door. Wait. Who would come to see me at this time? Cautiously and excitedly, I peered over the darkness to come face to face with.... KAI. and LEVANA. Both of them were standing before me, Levana looking overjoyed and Kai, looking worn out, tired and stressed. Kai...Kai. I feasted my eyes on his face whom I didn't see for a week. One painful week.

"Oh well, look at my beautiful niece. She's awake." Anger boiled in my veins. Control yourself. "What do you want, Levana?" She smiled wickedly. "Me, and my soon-to-be husband have come here to fetch you to our wedding." My throat hitched. Wedding? "What the hell Kai? How can you do this?" I screamed. His guilty looks made one thing clear. "I'm really sorry cinder. I didn't know what else to so." "what the heck does that even mean?" He sighed. "I'm.. I'm helpless, cinder. Its the least I can so to save you and all of our friends." He continued. "I have absolutely no other choice." Levana looked at me triumphantly. "Is that enough for you, sister dear? Face it. We are getting married." I buried my face in my hands. What did I do to deserve this?

"Enough with the chit chat. Come on, Kai. Let's go." "Kai, please don't.. Don't do this. Even for my sake." I begged. "I'm extremely sorry, cinder. I..I don't have any other choice. I have to do this for the whole country and you." He sighed. "I can't risk letting go of you, I absolutely can't and won't see you die, especially when I could have saved your life."
Cress pov
I'm hiding behind this pillar right now, watching the word exchange between cinder and Kai, and of course, it melts my heart. Seriously, those two are the sweetest made for each other couples I've ever seen in my lifetime. Kai has a dorky personality and cinder is the exact opposite of him - sarcastic, bold and of course, loveable. But all these differences doesn't split them apart; instead, it makes them even stronger. Hail to the person who said opposites attracts. Levana of course, is the one who tries to break them, and bring their romance to a standstill. But I have hope and confidence that true love will never fail and will hopefully bring them together somehow at the end of this novel-like story about a simple florist and a king's son.

Cinder was trying her best not to show her bubble of emotions that was dangerously close to exploding. She was panting and sweating, and her breathing was not normal. She was fidgeting with her hands, which was astounding, considering that cinder was brave almost most of the time. Which means.. She is... Going to tell something important..
"Kai, I want to tell you something important." Kai's face stiffened at once, before changing into a hesitant one. "I said enough. Just lets go." Levana. Kai didn't speak anything, but waved his hand to continue. "It will seem stupid to you, especially as I myself was confused till this time. Till now." "I have wondered many times why you had liked me, a poor unworthy girl." "But I never did get the answer. Instead I started liking you even more." "All this time, I've been oblivious of my true feelings towards you, which I had hidden all this time."

Kai blinked, absolutely stunned. "And you are trying to say that.....?" Cinder took in a deep breath, and opened her eyes. "Kai, I love you so much. So much that it hurts."
"Kai, I love you so much."
Those words were enough to make a smile appear on his face, and tears formed in his eyes. "Cinder, I love you more than you love me." Kai rushed forward, not caring who were present around him and cupped cinder's cheek. Cinder saw so much of emotion in his tear filled eyes, his gaze was so... So dense, that it could melt her completely. "I love you too." He kissed her lips softly and passionately.
"I love you."

Just think this, what will Levana do if cinder proposes her love to Kai and vice versa? That's where the thing is. So, let's go back:

"I love you too." And that's how the thing ends, right? No.
"What the hell is going in here? Did you forget that I'm still in this room? And, cinder how dare you say I love you to my husband?" Cinder tilted her head, and made an annoyed reaction. "I don't care what happens to me now, as I have gotten this huge thing off my chest." "I love you kai, I really do." "Trust me, cinder. I love you too." At once, all the others emerged around the corner. Thorne, cress, scarlet, wolf, jacin and winter. "Hail to you, princess selene. At last you have confessed your love to your special someone." Winter started. "Yes, I decided that I would." "But there is still a thorn to be taken care of." Thorne said, glancing towards levana. "This is it. All of you, and kai, you too." Levana said, gritting her teeth. "You have broken my wish and sided with these low down people. You all will pay."

They heard a clang of metal, and levana had withdrew a long dagger which she had successfully hidden it all this time. "Say goodbye to this world, cinder!"

They heard the sound of ripping flesh and blood... lots of blood. Levana had slashed the dagger between her stomach, which is gruesome. "Cinder!!" Kai rushed towards her and placed her head in his lap. "Please...no. you should live.. please."

Cinder pov
Ouch. My lower abdomen was throbbing painfully and all I could hear was kai's pleading voice. "Cinder... no. You can survive.." tears pricked my eyes. What a tragedy. I did not hope to die like this. Whether I like it or not, my eyelids slowly dropped, and I can feel my breathing greeting weaker and weaker. "Good..bye.. bye..." and that's it.

So, I know. I am horrible at updating. I know that, and I'm terribly sorry for that. This isn't the last chapter though. There is one chapter more, which will be released probably tomorrow. Thank you all for your support, and I would like to finish this story as soon as possible. The other story which I'm currently writing will also be updated when I find solid time.
