 ~ELLEN'S P.O.V.~

 We got home and told Grian about Sam and Dom, and he said we should all go visit him. We all walked down the block and found his house. We rang the doorbell and waited a few seconds. Finally, Sam answered the door. "Oh, come in." he said. "What's up?" "We just wanted to see you, make sure we're good friends!" I said smiling. Sam smiled, he almost looked surprised. "Why so surprised?" Taurtis asked, laughing. "No one's wanted to be my friend so bad!" he said, laughing. We laughed a bit. "Hey, Caramel! want to come meet my friends?" he said, looking upstairs. A girl poked her head out from upstairs. She looked worried. "Umm.." she looked at us. She decided to slowly walk downstairs. "Hi" she said quietly. She had a British accent. We all said 'hi' to her.

 She had light brown, wavy hair that fell perfectly onto her shoulders. Stunning crystal blue eyes. She seemed really shy, but she eventually smiled at us. She walked to Sam and stood by him. She was just a bit shorter than him. "It's ok, you can take your beanie off." Sam mumbled to her. She slowly took off her beanie to reveal soft, pink rabbit ears. Grian smiled. "Why weren't you at school? We could've been friends!" I said smiling. "Oh, I was a little scared to go." she said softly. "She's my little sister. It's just me, her, and pops." Sam said, smiling. "Was your mom British?" Grian said. Caramel nodded, saying quietly, "Mom died of cancer." Me and Taurtis looked at each other. "Dad's trying his best to take care of us, so he works a lot. He's not really home, much." Sam said. I detected some sadness in his voice. "Well, wanna play something?" Sam asked. We all nodded, smiling, and Sam brought us upstairs.

 "Caramel, tell us something about you!" I said smiling, laughing. She laughed quietly, "Umm.. I'm scared of spiders." Sam shivered, after agreeing with her. I feel like me and Caramel are going to be good friends. "I'm also a grade lower that y'all. I'm in 7th grade." "7th grade sucks.." Taurtis said rolling his eyes. Grian nodded, agreeing. Sam went downstairs and came back up with cups of tea and cookies. "You know how to make tea?! I TOLD you I'm not the only one, TAURTIS!" Grian said at Taurtis. Taurtis laughed and Sam said, "Oh, please, I learned from Caramel!" Caramel laughed. "I kind of forced him to.. I love tea and cookies!" "Who doesn't?!" I joked, laughing. Eventually, it got late, and me, Taurtis, and Grian went home.

 I got a vibe from Grian. I whispered in his ear, "You like her, don't you?" He nodded slightly, blushing. I laughed. We went to bed and quickly fell asleep.

 ~MORNING~

 On the way walking to school, Sam and Caramel caught up with us. Caramel had her beanie back on. We walked to school together, having fun.

 "OK, students! Today joining us is Sam's sister, Caramel. Even though she's supposed to be in 7th grade, she got accepted into 8th grade. Please be kind to her and make her feel welcome! :D " Mrs. Okami said. "NERD!!" Dom shouted. Caramel immediately looked his way and her face burned up with embarrassment. Sam looked angry, now. Caramel sat down behind Sam.

 "Ok, today continuing our lessons on hybrids, we're learning about a special type of person. They're not hybrids, but they have the amazing ability to understand hybrids! :D " I felt weird about that.. I'm an Empath, what if I could be one of those type of people? I looked at Taurtis, but he was busy taking notes. Sam looked at Caramel, and they looked at me. I gulped nervously, and turned around to face the front of the class. Class continued, and eventually, the bell rang for lunch.

 Sam and Caramel sat with me and Taurtis, and we were mostly quiet the whole time. Taurtis had tryouts to go to for basketball, so he left early. Grian was sitting with another friend for just that day. Sam, Caramel, and I were just quiet the whole time, thinking about the lesson. All of a sudden, I heard voices.
