Chapter 28

~SAM'S P.O.V.~

 11:15 P.M. Still in my corner. Grian still by me. Taurtis still asleep. Everyone else left. I can't go to sleep. Ellen has to wake up soon. So tired.. Can't sleep..

 I woke up in my room in the hospital. I looked at the clock, 5:56 P.M. I ran out my hospital room and into Taurtis's room. He wasn't there, he must be in the waiting room. I ran to the waiting room. Everyone was there as usual. "Is she awake?!" I asked as usual. Everybody shook their head. "But.. it's been.. eight days.." I slowed down my speech. "I know, the nurses are saying that it'll end today and we can see her by tonight!" Grian said as he finished talking with the nurse. Taurtis and I looked at each other, eyes widened. "TONIGHT?!" we yelled. Grian nodded his head and smiled.

~GRIAN'S P.O.V.~

 Sam ran up to me and shook me excitedly. "I'M GONNA SEE HER TONIGHT!!" he shouted. Taurtis held on to Blue and wouldn't stop smiling. A doctor walked through a door. "Those who are waiting on Ellen?" he called for. The eleven of us raised our hands. "Please follow me." he said. Sam and Taurtis ran up to him and walked right by him. The rest of us walked behind them through a hall. "Good news! It's ended earlier than we planned on, so y'all can see her in the next few minutes. Thing is, she's been heavily drugged, and she's incapable of handling too much, so I'm only allowing a few of y'all at a time. She'll be released when the medications have completely worn off." he said as we walked to Ellen's room. Sam and Taurtis bombarded him with questions that I couldn't hear because they overlapped each other's words. The doctor just ignored them with a sigh and we stopped at a door. "This is her room, I'll leave y'all here." he said as he walked away. We looked at each other. I looked down the hall to see a small girl with bat wings walk up to us. "Hi, guys, I'm Mary!" she said smiling. "Ok, I made a list of who I think should go in first, so.. Jasper and Winter, go in first." she said as she pulled out a small piece of paper out her pocket. "Mary, do you know Ellen?" I asked the small girl. She nodded. She looked to Sam and Sam nodded, agreeing with her. Jasper and Winter looked at each other and walked through the door.

~JASPER'S P.O.V.~

 We walked through the doors, looking at each other nervously, but excited. Ellen was sitting up on her bed. She turned her head to look at us. She smiled weakly. We walked up to her. She opened her arms for a hug, and me and Winter wrapped our arms around her. "How- how's it goin?" she asked. Winter wiped a tear. "W-well, Jasper's been getting better with controlling!" she said excitedly. I blushed. Ellen gasped excitedly and smiled at me. "Evil Jasper tried to get to me yesterday, and I was able to get rid of him with Winter's help." I said. Winter chuckled and Ellen quietly clapped her hands together. "We know you're tired, and everyone else still wants to see you, so we'll talk later." I said, weakly smiling. Ellen nodded and said, "Bye" "Bye!" Winter and I said, exiting the door. Everyone looked up to us. "Ok, next, I think J and Orchid should go." Mary, the small bat hybrid girl said. J and Orchid looked at each other and walked through the door.

~J'S P.O.V.~

 We walked through the door and ran to stand by Ellen, who was sitting up in her bed, waiting for the persons to walk through the door. "Are you ok?!" Brittany said. Ellen nodded and we all hugged. "Are y'all ok?" Ellen asked weakly. "Ya, we're fine, but worried sick about you!" I answered. Ellen smiled, happy knowing somebody cared for her. "I'm so happy you're ok!" Orchid exclaimed wiping a tear. I wrapped my arm around my pretty sibling that I was jealous of. "I'm glad y'all are ok!" Ellen said excitedly. "We'll let you talk to the next people, later!" I said as we walked closer to the door. "Bye!" Ellen said. We walked through the door. "Umm, next should be Grian and Brittany!" Mary said. Grian and Brittany looked at each other and ran through the door.

~GRIAN'S P.O.V.~

 We ran through the door and ran to Ellen. "I'm so glad you're ok!!" I exclaimed. Brittany hugged her and I wrapped my arms around the two of them. Ellen wiped a tear from her cheek. "Please, don't cry!!" my cousin begged. "I'm fine, are y'all doing ok?" Ellen asked smiling. "We're ok of course, but I swear Ellen, if you get hurt one more time!!" Brittany exclaimed. Ellen chuckled weakly. "Well, let me see the others, and we can talk later. Bye!" Ellen said. "Bye!" we said, exiting through the doors. "Next, just Caramel!" Mary said.
