 ~ELLEN'S P.O.V.~

~2 YEARS LATER NOW WE'RE 13Y 8TH GRADE I KNOW I KNOW OH THE TIME SKIP ;-; ~

 Dom stopped bullying me ever since Taurtis fought him. I'm actually grateful he did fight him, but violence isn't supposed to be the answer..

 "OK, since there's like... 60 of you or something, I'm just going to not even bother with role call." Mrs. Okami said. A few minutes later, Mrs. Okami set down her clipboard. "Boys and Girls, there's a new student! He's our first hybrid- he's part rabbit! Sam, you can come in now! :D " A tall guy with long rabbit ears on top his head walked in. He looked around at all the students and gulped nervously. "Tell us something about yourself! :D " Mrs. Okami said excitedly. "Um.. I'm Sam Gladiator, I'm 13, and I'm part rabbit...." he said quietly. "OK, ok, everyone's nervous on their first day at a new school! It's fine! Find a seat and sit down." Mrs. Okami said kind as she always is. He sat behind Taurtis. Now, we were a square, me and Taurtis sitting next to each other, Grian behind me, Sam behind Taurtis.

 "OK, students! Today, in honor of Sam, we're learning about hybrids!" One day, Mr. Albert Einstein created the first hybrid! Does anyone know why?" Jts raised his hand and said, "He wanted to make an army!" "Correct! He wanted to make an army to prove we shouldn't harm animals, because they're just like humans. So, every hybrid is genetically strong! :D " Sam's ears flew up and he blushed. Sam looked like a nervous wreck, I felt bad for him. I almost felt like a nervous wreck myself, being an Empath and all..

 "So, what happened in the war?" Mrs. Okami asked. Patty raised her hand and said, "The hybrids became too powerful and had to be tamed!" Sam's ears flew up again and she stared at Patty for a while. He lowered his ears again and looked back at the front of the classroom. Poor Sam..

 "So, they were tamed, and they kept breeding! Unfortunately, in some places they were viewed as monsters, and they became illegal in some states, even countries. Who can tell me something about hybrids? :D " Salex's hand flew up and she said, "They're incredibly sensitive!" Mrs Okami nodded her head saying, "Yes, they are incredibly shy in new territory. They will flee from any situation they don't want to be in, just like humans." I saw Sam trying to get up, but the second she said that, he sat back down. Dom snickered. Yuki raised her hand and asked, "Don't they have a bad side er somethin" "Yes, yes they do, Yuki! Depending on their emotions, how familiar they are with the territory, their relations, they can be anywhere from very hostile to not even themselves. They can be what seems like controlled by an evil self. So, we have to do whatever possible to not let them be in any uncomfortable situation, just like with ourselves! Hybrids are just like us, even if they have long rabbit ears! :D " Everyone turned around to look at Sam. Sam gulped. "Sam, do you have any experiences with so that you could tell us about?" Mrs. Okami asked. He nodded and walked up.

 He looked around at everyone. "Um, I was bullied severely at my last school, and I sent 3 guys to a hospital..." he said quietly. Everyone laughed! They thought it either made him a freak or he was lying. Mrs. Okami nodded her head saying, "Well, please sit back down." The bell finally rang for lunch. Sam looked like he was heading to the counselor. J started sitting with some other guys, so it was just me, Taurtis, and Grian.

 "Do you think he was lying?" Grian asked. Taurtis nodded, "Ya, there's no way he could send 3 guys to the hospital." "Guys, I don't think he was lying.." I said, standing up for Sam. "Oh, please, Ellen. He even looks weak." "Because his uniform is covering him! And, Mrs. Okami said, hybrids are genetically strong!" "Even Mrs. Okami looked like she didn't believe him, Ellen." Taurtis said calmly. "Ya, I guess.." After eating, the bell rang and it was time for P.E. Sam wasn't there, I guess still with the counselor. We just exercised and played dodgeball for a short time. The bell rang, and it was time to go home. Dang it! I forgot my work in my locker..

 "Taurtis, I need to go get my work in my locker." I said. "K, I'll go with you." he said. We walked upstairs and I was at my locker. Let's see.. 32.. 9..-

"OHHHHHHH SHIIIIIIII-" I heard someone scream all of a sudden. Sam was running up the stairs and he turned to the end of the hall where me and Taurtis was, which, is a dead end.. Then, I see Dom chasing him, laughing. "COME BACK, BUNNY BOY!!" Sam gulped, ears up, eyes widened. Oh, this is NOT happening. I stepped in front of Sam.

 "Get away, DOM!" I shouted. "You're not hurting ANOTHER new kid!!" "Get out of the way, Ellen.." he mumbled. "NO!" I yelled. I know I'm weak, but it's never right for someone to be picked on. Dom pushed me aside like a stuffed animal. Taurtis grabbed Dom's shoulder and Dom turned around. "TAURTIS, DON'T TOUCH ME!" he shouted. "Don't you touch him!" Taurtis yelled. "You KNOW I'm stronger than you!" Sam just stood still, scared to death. "DON'T. TOUCH. HIM." Taurtis said, for the last time. Dom smirked and walked away, back downstairs. Sam relaxed a little and sighed. Me and Taurtis stared at him, waiting for him to do something. "Umm.. I got to go.." he mumbled. As he began to walk away, he tripped. "Oh gosh.." I said. I grabbed his arm, and helped him up. "What was Dom doing?" Taurtis asked. "I was walking upstairs to get to my locker, I didn't even know he was following me, and all of a sudden, I felt him kick the back of my shoe, and I fell, and he said I tried to trip him, so he grabbed my shirt and punched me, but I pushed him off and I ran up the stairs!!"

 Oh my gosh, I swear, the next time I see Dom.. Taurtis looked down at the ground. Sam blushed at me still holding his arm, and I let go. Oops..

 "Where do you live?" Taurtis asked Sam. Sam took a piece of paper and he wrote an address and handed it to us. "Oh, cool, you live just a house away!" Taurtis said. Sam laughed nervously. "It's just me and my dad, so.. OHMYGOSH! I NEED TO GO!!" he shouted. He ran away, FAST. He should seriously be on track or something. Taurtis shrugged, I got my work, and we went home.
