Chapter 19

~SAM'S P.O.V.~

 I woke up early, Jasper and Ellen still asleep. I heard a knock on the door, and I opened the door. She had soft, Japanese, green eyes. Her silver-ish hair faded to blue, purple, then a reddish pink. A jacket with a galaxy design, skinny jeans, and blue vans. And silver wings. "Oh my gosh, Winter.." I whispered. She looked down to the ground in fear. "I was told I could find Jasper here.." she whispered. "He's sleeping, so is my roommate, Ellen." Her eyes widened. "E-Ellen? Ellen the Empath?" she said startled. "Ya..?" I said confused. "You know her?" "She's only known throughout the hybrid world.." I gasped. "W-when's the last time you've been to Hybridian?!" I said a little louder. "This past weekend, when the B.W.W. sent me home. My home was still registered as Hybridian!" she said, smiling. I smiled wide. She frowned, knowing I could never go to Hybridian. "It's ok, a lot of hybrids can't go.." she said gloomily. I looked down to my shoes. "Right.." I said, not wanting to talk about it, "Come in." We walked in, and she smiled wide when she saw Jasper and Ellen. "I'm sure Ellen will be happy to talk to another Empath." I said, smiling upon Ellen as she slept comfortably. "Ya, but I'm a hybrid Empath, I only work with hybrids! She works with hybrids AND humans!" she said, somewhat excitedly.

 Ellen murmured something, and sat up. "Another.. do I know you?" Ellen said. Winter half smiled. "M-maybe." Winter said. Ellen rubbed her eyes, and focused on Winter's wings. "Are you related to Jasper?" she asked curiously. "Ya, I'm his brother." Winter said, turning her head to watch her sleeping brother. She frowned. "I can't talk to him.. I just wanted to see him.." she said, her voice breaking, blinking away the tears. Ellen gasped, and pulled her in a hug. "Oh my gord, I'm so sorry.." Ellen said, putting the puzzle pieces together herself. Winter wrapped her arms around Ellen, and Ellen rubbed Winter's back. "Guys, I think Jasper's waking up!" I said whispering, as Jasper pulled the cover over his head. Winter gasped and ran to the door, but Ellen grabbed her arm. "No, this is wrong! Y'all are siblings, you have to see each other!" Ellen said, a single tear running down her cheek. Winter looked back and forth between Jasper and Ellen. "Please, she can help!" I begged Winter, knowing it would kill her not to hear her brother's voice. Winter let out a huge sigh, thinking, and looked deep into my eyes, wondering if she can trust me. My rabbit ear twitched. "He's waking up.." I said. Winter finally slowly nodded her head, and turned her back to Jasper. I walked over to Jasper.

 ~ELLEN'S P.O.V.~

 "Hey Jasper, someone's here to see you.." Sam whispered to him. He sat up and rubbed hid eyes, and asked, "Who?" Sam looked to me and gently nodded his head. I rested my hand on Winter's back. She wiped a single tear, took a deep breath, and slowly, step after step, walked in front of Jasper. "Hi, brother.." she whispered. Jasper gasped as his gaze focused on Winter. Jasper jumped up and flapped his wings, raising him up a few inches. "WINTER!!" he screamed, over joyed, crying. Jasper clasped his stomach, and I felt Evil Jasper coming back. He fell to the couch and rolled to the floor. Winter ran to him, but Jasper raised a hand. "D-DON'T COME A-ANY C-CLOSER..." Jasper stammered. Winter pleadingly looked to me, and I ran to Jasper. Sam helped me lift him to the couch, and I rested a hand on Jasper's shoulder. As my hand gently touched his sleeve, Jasper yelled in pain. I closed my eyes, and felt my handed being guided by Sam's hand to Jasper's chest, his stomach, his back, his neck, his forehead, and every movement made Jasper gasp in pain. "WINTER!!!!" Jasper screamed in pain. Winter covered her mouth and cried. "IT HURTS.. I'M SORRY JASPER.." she sobbed. Evil Jasper tried to shove me away, and I fell to the ground, but I got up and pushed Evil Jasper to the ground. The world falls black.

 I ran, but Evil Ellen pushed me down. She sat on top of me and tried to keep a hold on my neck, taking away every breath I had. Sam came running and shoved Evil Ellen away. "SAM!!!" I screamed. His rabbit ear twitched, and he raised his hand to conjure a knife out of black air. "DIE!!!!!!" Sam screamed. As he tried to stab Evil Ellen, Evil Winter ran up and pushed Sam away. Evil Sam grabbed my arms and tried to drag me away, but Jasper came running and tried to push Evil Sam away, but Evil Jasper turned visible and chased Jasper away. Winter came trying to run to save Jasper, but Sam got pinned to the ground by Evil Winter, and Winter froze. "HELP SAM!!" I yelled. I pushed Evil Sam off and ran to Jasper. I conjured a gun and shot Evil Jasper in the arm, but he flew away. Jasper ran to Winter and Sam, but he got conjured to Evil Jasper. Sam got conjured to Evil Sam, Winter got conjured to Evil Winter, I got conjured to Evil Ellen.

 We were being held by our necks miles above a sea of lava. Evil Sam was screaming something to Sam, but no sound came out his mouth. Evil Winter yelled something to Winter, but I heard nothing. Evil Jasper shouted something to Jasper, but I heard silence. I heard the screeching voice of Evil Ellen, like nails on a chalkboard.

"YOU'RE ALL ALONE!!!!

I can't believe that..

"ALL YOU FEEL IS PAIN!!!!!"

NO, I have to be happy!!

"YOU CAN'T LIVE!!!!"

I HAVE TO..

"YOU JUST WANT TO DIE!!!!!!!!!"

It's true... NO!!!!!

"YOU'RE A DEPRESSED PSYCO THAT NO ONE WILL EVER CARE FOR!!!!!"

TRUE...PLEASE, STOP!!!!!

"ALL YOUR LIFE IS IS DEPRESSION!!!!

SADNESS.. STOP, PLEASE!!!!!

"HORRIDNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

STOP THE PAIN, PLEASE!!!!!!!!

 I woke up on my bed. Jasper and Winter were holding each other, crying, but smiling. Sam was kneeling over me, crying. "Ellen??!!" Sam screamed. I looked down to my body. An illusion of flames disspeared to reveal a burn wound. I looked a Sam's arm, bandaged, stabbed. Winter's neck revealed bruises. Jasper's leg bleeding on the floor. "What was that.." I asked, shocked, scared, in pain. Sam wiped away his tears, "That was your first attack.. you're so lucky it's your first time.." Sam whispered. "Y-you guys have had this happen before?!" I tried to yell, my voice breaking. They all nodded, and looked at each other. "That's how we knew to attack.." Winter commented. "My 4th time.." Winter said wiping away a tear. "My 12th time.." Jasper said slowly, looking away. "My 9th time.." Sam said biting his lip. "My first.." I commented. Sam patted my shoulder, "So lucky you weren't alone your first time.. Get some rest." he said as he got up from kneeling. I instantly feel asleep.
