Chapter 12

 ~ELLEN'S P.O.V.~

 I woke up during the middle of the night. Sam was loudly tossing and turning, and he didn't look okay. I looked at the clock, and it read 3:27. Sam started moaning, and I walked over to him, laying on his bed. Sam was sleeping, but sweating. I turned on his lamp light, and he started swatting at the air. He was still asleep. He started trying to say something. He continued to call out.

"No.."

"Sam?"

"NO..!"

"Sam??"

 I began lightly shaking him, but he wouldn't wake up, stubborn rabbit.

"NO!!!!!" he shouted. "Sam?? I'm right here!" I said.

"DON'T LEAVE ME!!!!!!"

"Sam, I'm right here!!"

"AHHHHHHH!! NO, DON'T LEAVE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"SAM??! I'm right here!!!!"

"ELLEN, NO!!!!!!!!!!!"

"SAM!!!!!!!!!!"

"DON'T LEAVE ME, ELLEN!!!!!!!!!!"

"SAM, I'M RIGHT HERE, IT'S OKAY!!!!!!!!!!"

 I began violently shaking him, and he eventually shot up, awake. He grabbed my arms tightly, and stared at me pleadingly, crying and sweating, his red eyes quickly turning back to brown. "DON'T LEAVE ME!!!!!" he shouted. "Sam, it's okay!! It was a bad dream!!" I yelled quietly. He looked to the ground, still tightly holding my arms, and he looked back at me, a tear falling down his cheek. "Sam.." I said quietly. He pulled me in a tight hug. I wrapped my arms around him saying, "It's ok Sam.. talk to me about it.." He continued to cry on my shoulder, and he began to talk about it. "We w-were in a room of fire.. and E-evil Sam was hurting y-you.. But you didn't e-even care!! You were yelling at me, saying you d-don't care about me!!" He sobbed into my shirt, and I hugged him tighter. "Sam, you know I care for you!! Don't ever think I don't!" I said. He continued to cry. After a few  minutes, he let go of me.

 "C-can you lay by me, u-until I fall asleep?" he asked beggingly. I was EXTREMELY tired.. but I cared too much for him. I nodded, and sat down comfortably on his bed. He laid his head next to my lap, and I pulled the blanket over him. I pet his soft, white rabbit ears for a minute, and eventually, he fell asleep. I slowly tried to quietly get up, and all of a sudden, Sam throws his arm around my lap. I looked at him, and he was surely asleep. I felt my face turn red, and I decided to just wait for him to move. Minutes later, and he doesn't move. I was so UNBELIEVABLY tired.. I fell asleep next to him.

 ~MORNING~

~SAM'S P.O.V.~

 I woke up to see a sleeping Ellen under my covers. Memories of last night come back, and I feel my face burn red. I slowly and quietly got out of bed, luckily not waking her. I went to the kitchen/living room area in our new dorm. I began making cereal for both of us. I knew her favorite cereal was frosted flakes, so I of course bought a box of those, and I fixed a bowl for her. I turned on the TV, being careful not to be too loud. Every once in a wile, I looked to see if Ellen woke up. I continued to eat my lucky charms, and flipped through the channels. I looked at the time, and it read 7:20. After a few minutes, I quietly tip-toed to the sink, and I dropped my spoon.

*clink*

"Uh- INTRUDER, INTRUDER!! GET DOWN ON THE GROUND!!!" she screamed. She shot up and stood on the bed, pointing her fingers like a gun everywhere. "Relax, I dropped my spoon... sorry.." I apologized. She sighed and got down from the bed, realizing it was my bed. I saw her face turn red, and she walked to the fridge. She looked in and saw her bowl of frosted flakes. "You bought my favorite cereal.." she said slowly. I nodded, blushing. "Ya.. I know you like frosted flakes.." I said. She quietly giggled, and she started eating her bowl. She sat down in the chair in front of the TV and continued eating, flipping through the channels.

 Minutes later, she turned the TV off and put her empty bowl and spoon in the sink. She walked to the bathroom, and came out with her long, curly, ash-blonde hair brushed. She had on her regular bright blue, flowy top with no fabric on her shoulders, but long sleeves. Her regular jean skirt and silver converses were on, too. She slipped on her black bracelets, one for each wrist, and she smiled at me. I smiled back, and entered the bathroom. I brushed my curly, dark brown hair, being careful not to scratch my rabbit ears. I put on my dark blue shirt, and put on a pair of jeans. I tied my red converses, and entered the living room. Ellen was waiting at the door for me, and I walked over to her. "Everyone's going to the park today! Comin' with me?" She excitedly asked me. She seemed excited about it, so of course I nodded, smiling. We walked out the door, to see Taurtis, Blue, Caramel, Dom, and J, and Grian, and Brittany. Taurtis looked at me like I'm a villain for sleeping in the same room his sister is in. I started to be the friend I am and I whispered to him, "While she was sleeping, I stroked her hair, and she called out my name in her sleep. Gord, we're just perfect for each other!"

Nope, shouldn't have done that.

 Taurtis's face immediately burned red and he grabbed my shirt. "Taurtis?" Ellen said. I smirked, and Ellen walked towards us. Everyone else turned around to watch us. "Whatya gonna do?" I asked him, making Taurtis every bit more upset.

Nope, definitely should not have done that.

Taurtis immediately punched me right in the face without regret. "TAURTIS!!!" Ellen screamed. "HE SAID HE.. BUT.. Sam.. were you joking?!" he stammered angrily. Dude, my face freakin' HURT now.. "I was joking, I swear!!" I admitted. Taurtis stared at me silently. I continued walking, and Taurtis stopped in front of me. He punched me again in the face, with no regret. OK, that was too far. I punched him back in the face, and he jumped on me, pushing me to the ground. "TAURTIS, SAM!" Ellen yelled. We blocked her out, and Taurtis began kicking me repeatedly. I jumped up, and whacked him in the stomach. He fell to the ground, and I sat on top of him. I repeatedly punched his face, and he pushed me off. He slammed me to the wall and kicked me again and again. I pushed him hard and he fell to the ground again. He quickly got up and tried to push me to the ground again. "TAURTIS, SAM, STOP!!!!!" Ellen begged. We both turned to her, and Ellen pulled Taurtis off me, and got between us. "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" she shouted. Everyone was staring at us with angry faces, knowing we hurt Ellen. "I heard you, Sam.. you never did that.. why would you tell Taurtis something like that?!" she yelled at me. I looked away, embarrassed for my actions. Taurtis stared at the ground, waiting to hear what I was going to say. I stayed silent, and Ellen slapped my face with a hurtful sting. I rubbed my cheek where she slapped me, and she turned to Taurtis. "Let me talk to him." she said firmly at Taurtis. Taurtis yelled in frustration, and walked away with the other guys.

 "Why the heck would you tell Taurtis something like that?!"

"..."

"Are you going to answer me?!"

"..."

"Wow. I thought you were better than that. Don't ever do anything like that EVER again, and maybe I'll forgive you."

She walked away, and I walked from a distance behind her. We finally all got to the park, and we hung out.
