Chapter 21

~ELLEN'S P.O.V.~

 I woke up and looked at the clock, that read 6:34. "Sam, wake up!!"I whispered. He swatted the air and turned the other direction. I shook him gently saying, "Come on, Sam, aren't you excited?!" "Ya, super awesome, yaaay..." he murmured. "Come on, wake up!!" I said for the last time. "Alright, alright, gimme a minute!" he exclaimed. He pulled the cover over his ears and head. I pulled it off and he groaned. "DO YOU WANT CARROT PANCAKES OR NOT?!" I yelled. He immediately jumped up and ran to the table and sat down. "OK, guess you do!" I exclaimed. He smiled wide and laid his head down on the table to fall asleep again. I skipped to the kitchen and began making his favorite carrot pancakes. "I'M HUNGRY." Sam complained. "SHUT UP." I joked. "RUDE." "LAZY." "No I'm not.." "Shut up."

 We finished our pancakes and got ready. I put on my green swim suit and Sam wore his orange swim trunks, and a blue and orange NIKE shirt.

 "Ready to go?" I asked excitedly. He nodded and said, "Lemme make a call first." "K"

~SAM'S P.O.V.~

 I pulled out my phone and called Jasper. "Hello?" he answered. "I guess you and Winter aren't coming to the beach?" I asked. "I can't, Blue, Dom, and Caramel will be there.." he answered. "I know.. they're gonna see you eventually.." I said. He sighed loudly, "I know they already sense me, but it'll be too much of they see me.." "Ya, I understand.." "Bye" "Bye" I hung up. "Ok, ready!" I said to Ellen. She squealed excitedly and we walked out the door.

 We got to the lounge. Girls in their swim suits, Taurtis with blue swim trunks and an orange shirt, Grian with red swim trunks and black and white shirt, J with yellow and purple swim trunks and orange shirt, and Dom with blue camo jeans and a black shirt. Ellen walked to stand by Taurtis and we left the lobby. I'll make it up to Jasper and Winter for not being able to come.

 We got to the sandy beach. "Sam, help me set up the chairs!" Taurtis said excitedly. I ran over to where he was and we set up 10 chairs all by each other. Pink one being Brittany's, light clear red being Caramel's, dark red one being Grian's, orange one being mine, yellow one being J's, green one being Ellen's, clear blue one being Blue's, much darker blue being Taurtis's, purple one being Orchid's, black one being Dom's. Yup, I think that's everyone..

 "Me, Taurtis, and J are going to look at the sand castle contest!" Grian said. "NERDS!" Dom shouted. "SHUT UP DOM!" J shouted back. "GUYS!!!" Blue interrupted. "Me, Brittany, and Caramel are going to BUILD a sandcastle!!" Orchid squealed excitedly. Blue and Dom looked at each other and decided to sit down and talk with each other. Leaving me and Ellen. I took off my shirt and set it on my chair.

 "Umm... ready?" I asked her shyly. She nodded and ran to the shore, and stopped by the water. I walked over to her and stood next to her. She looked nervous. I looked to see if Taurtis was looking, which he wasn't, so I stepped in front of her and gently held on to her arms and pulled her in. My face felt like fire.. GORD I can't stand it anymore!! She began to walk slowly into the water, step after step. I led her deeper in the water. Once the water was almost up to her knees, she froze. Her face was pale, eyes widened. "Ellen?" I asked. "So... c-cold..." she stammered. I didn't feel cold, I thought it was warm, but she continued to walk into the water. "SAM.. so cold.." she complained. "What, is this your first time at the beach??" I asked seriously. "WHAT?! NO!! It's my second.." she yelled. Um.. ok. "Well, it gets warmer.." I commented. She slowly nodded her head and walked a little faster into the water. Now, the water was at her waist, but I'm taller, so it was about between my knees and waist. I let go of her arms and she ran into deeper into the water. "Come on, it's warm now!" she said excitedly. I ran to her and caught up in no time. "I'm not getting my ears wet." I stated. "Why?" she asked curiously. "I hate the feeling of my ears getting wet, wet fur..." I shivered. She giggled cutely like she always does. She grabbed my wrist and pulled me deeper into the water. Now, the water was up to her shoulders, for me, just at my chest. "Do you know how to float?" I asked. She shook her head. "That's the first thing to learn."

 I walked to stand by her side, and laid one hand on her back and the other on her legs. "Relax." I said shakily.. I lifter her up to lay on top of the water. "Close your eyes." I told her. She closed her eyes and smiled. I let go and left her to float on her back on the water. She immediately realized I let go and freaked out. "SAM!!" she shouted, squirming in the water. I grabbed her waist and pulled her up. She held on to my chest in fear, her wet head on my chest. "IT'S OK..." I tried to say, her holding on to me so tight. She loosened up a bit slowly, finally letting go, hanging her head. I pulled her into a gentle hug. She wrapped her arms around my shoulders, and laid her head on my chest. Her hair is so soft..

~TIME SKIP~

 "We've been in for an hour, and at least you know how to float, and get ready to swim." I said, trying to make her feel better for not learning much. "I know, let's get out the water." she said. We began walking to the shore. "I hear there's some smart little kids going to our high school." I commented. "They're getting their dorms tomorrow." Ellen's eyes widened. "Wow, maybe we'll meet some of them!" she said excitedly. I smiled at her being happy to hear that, and we sat down in our chairs. Dom and Blue looked like they were bickering. "Dom, if you like her, TELL HER!!" Blue yelled. "I CAN'T!!" Dom shouted. "WHY NOT?!" Blue yelled. "BECAUSE SHE'LL SAY NO!!" Dom groaned. "You don't know that, DOM.." Blue yelled. "Who?" Ellen asked. "ORCHID!!" Blue screamed. Orchid looked our way and started walking over to us. "Ya?" Orchid asked curiously. "We're done with our sand castle, so.." Dom's face immediately turned an unbelievably DARK shade of a crimson red. "UHH.. I.. SHE.. WE.. NOTHING!!" Dom stammered. Orchid made a curious expression. "Dom, are you ok?" Orchid asked. Dom turned to Blue and scowled. Blue laughed and Dom turned back to Orchid. "HAHA.. SO FUNNY, BLUE.. SHE..UH.. SAID SAM AND ELLEN ARE GOING OUT!!" "WHAT?!" me and Ellen shouted. "OH NONONONO!!" Ellen yelled. "WE ARE NOT GOING OUT!!!" I exclaimed. Orchid laughed, "That's too bad, y'all would be cute together!" she joked. She walked back to her sand castle where Caramel and Brittany were.

 ~ORCHID'S P.O.V.~

 "So, did Dom ask you out?!" Caramel squealed. "NO, he changed the subject!" I said angrily. "I wouldn't worry, he's GOING to ask you out SOMETIME.." Brittany said, sounding annoyed herself. "Do you think J will ask me out?" Brittany said, sounding sad suddenly. "I'm sure he will, Brittany!" Caramel said reassuringly. "Who do you like, Caramel?" I decided to ask her. She was quiet for a bit. "I do have strong feeling towards Grian.." she admitted. "AWW, how cute!!!" Brittany squealed. "Y'all are perfect for each other! You both like cookies and tea!!" I joked. "Hahah, ya!!" Caramel exclaimed sarcastically. "Guys, when do y'all think Sam is going to ask Ellen out??" I said curiously. "Probably never, Sam breaks down in pressuring moments like that.." Caramel said. "But it's eventually gonna get unbearable for Sam!" Brittany said seriously. "Let's just leave him be on that subject." I said. "Guys, the judges are coming!!" Caramel squealed excitedly.
