CHAPTER-THIRTY: PART THREE

The group was moving in search of the tree when they heard someone's cry. They moved out there to see a man wounded and dusty.

He seemed to be one of the officer's who wanted to cross the forest to work under the leader. He sobbed saying that he is not capable enough to cross.

He asked their help. Lora was fine with it. The more the merer. The other two also agreed. The new group of four now continued on with their journey.

The new group member seems to know the location of the tree. They started to head in the directed direction.

"How do you know the location of the tree"; Lora inquired.

"I have frends who have crossed the forest. I have found out the information from them"; the man said.

His name was Drake.

They moved ahead along with Drake. The nature of trees in the area had changed. They were taller.

They were attacked various times by small creatures out there. The three guys smashed them away.

The boys were easily able to mingle up with Drake.
Lora didn't interfered with him much.

They were about to reach the tree when the entire group was attacked with loads of people. It was a hidden attack over the trees. Crizel was careless to not realize it beforehand.

Lora wasn't able to fight in front of the other two. The other three guys fought. The number of the enemy was a lot. Lora didn't even had any weapon to act as a fighter.

Even then Lora was keeping people away. Not anyone was allowed to come close to the crystal.

Reu snd Ron fought at a distance and Drake tried to protect Lora. Well he did helped. It had become a bit easy for Lora while he took care of people over her back.

Suddenly Lora was attacked from back on her head. She looked back to see the attacker's face before she fell uncounsciouss.

Lora woke up. She looked around. Reu and Ron were sitting close by. They were wonunded badly. Lora remembered about what had happened. It made her sad.

It was Drake; the person who betrayed them. He had hit Lora on her head and later beating up the other two took away the crystal from them.

Lora just stood up. Without saying anything she just left. The others saw her leave but before they could have questioned she was out of their sight.

Lora returned back in 20 minutes time. She went close to the two guys who were waiting for her return.

The dull faces of the two guys rejoiced when they saw something in Lora's possesion. It was the same crystal which had been taken away somewhile back.

"How did you get it"; Reu asked.

"Met Drake. He was feeling guity of what he had done.He apologized and just handed over the crystal"; Crizel said.

That reason didn't satisfy the two guys but Lora didn't give them time to think. She pulled them away in search of the tree.

In about an hours time the tree was found. It was right in front of them. The thing that was going to open up the gates for their own reasons.

The three moved happily towards the tree when they heard shouts of people. Reu and Ron looked back and noticed Drake and his group moving towards them with weapons. They were filled with rage. Blood lust was seen in their eyes.

On a closer look they noticed each of their atires. There was something in common and that was that they all were in a very bad state. Someone had beaten them to a pulp.

Before Reu and Ron could think of more Lora caught them and started to run towards the tree.

Questions did rolled in the two guy's mind but there wasn't anytime for asking.

Lora moved towards the tree and inserted the crystal in it.

It was taking it's own time to open and meanwhile Drake and the others caught upto them.

Bad words started to spill out through Drake's mouth towards the young girl. Lora acted innocent having no idea whatsoever why the guy was saying things.

Reu and Ron tried to talk to him but words were not gonna help. They were filled with rage and just wanted the girl dead.

Before Reu and Ron could have even tried to calm down the situationw ith talks Drake attacked Crizel.

Lora doched it with a tree close by and kicked Dake back over his stomach.

Reu and Ron surprisingly look at Lora.
"Was it just a fluke"; the guys wondered.

Seeing Drake got hit the entire army moved to attack.

Lora got herself a sword from one of the attackers. That made it a bit easy for her to fight without magic.

Crizel asked the two guys to stop fighting and rather move towards the tree.

They did as they were told while Lora tried any of the attackers to come close by. She didn't wanted anyone of them to cross or it would cause her a great deal as they had seen her fight.

Lora created an invisible distant semicircular shield blocking the three and tree and the passage which was opening.

From the little gap which had been created the two guys passed by. Lora stayed there untill the entire thing didn't open and again started to close.

Right before it was closing Lora relessed the shield and crossed the passage but along with her Drake too crossed by.

The gate was just about to close and Lora cruely kicked Drake back in the forest and the gate went shut.

She took a deep breath. Just a second late and she would have got the man in the area to uncover her secrets.

Crizel' s last act did made the two boys shocked. They had never expected Crizel to do such a thing. But considering what Drake had done before to them the intensity of her cruelness decreased.

Lora herself would actually have not done such a thing even though what Drake had done if Drake would't have seen her fighting the beast using her powers and then her fighting skills when she beat the entire Drake's army single handed.

Well the main thing was that they had crossed the forest sucessfully...
