CHAPTER- TWENTY FOUR: PART THREE

The lectures were going on very boring for many students but the two girls were busy with their own things.

Naxie was maping down about the college and the orphanage area they had covered.

Lora was trying to gain knowledge. Her knowledge gaining ability wad real fast and the rate by which the teacher taught was very very slow for her. She completed reading the entire text book in the one hour lecture in which the madam taught only one topic.

Lora also had another benefit. She had a nice retaining power as much she knew. She had no idea whether she really had it or not because of her lost memory. But she surely did retained anything she had read.

One by one the lectures continued when finally it was the break time. The girls moved out. Melinda and Rachel were accompanying them.

"We should try to take round of the city after college. We have to find..."; Lora said when was interuped by some disturbing noices.

Naxie and Lora exchanged glances and moved towards the direction from where the voice was coming.

"Where are you people running too"; Rachel called.

Rachel and Melinda followed and saw them heading towards a bunch of boys.

"What are you guys doing here"; Lucas asked.

"Let's hear about you people first"; Naxie asked.

"It's great to see your disguises still on"; Lora said seeing them still wearing them.

"It was Sam. He asked us to continue wearing"; Lucas said.

The girls gave a sigh of relief. Atleast because of the disguise they were able to roam freely around.

The girls were informed that the boys were found by a old man who saved them and took them home. He was vety emotional. He didn't had any kids thus considered the boys as one and took them in. And as the college they were in educated people for free or with less fees they were in.

"How did Lucas listened to him"; Naxie asked.

"Food"; Lora said pointing towards the tiffin of food he carried.

"Yeah... the old man packed it for me"; Lucas said as he stared to eat.

The girls told their story.

"We would be roaming on this island and find about a place to escape"; Naxie said.

"Why do we need to find a place to escape"; Lucas asked.

"Yes we can just go whenever we want too"; Rolando said.

"Yes and surely you would be cutting each of the policemen around"; Lora said.

"Ofcourse"; he replied in his usual tone.

"We can't do that. You don't have any idea. We are facing a vice captain at this place. His name is Chad"; Naxie said.

"So what..."; Lucas asked.

"It will be more fun to kill the person if he is strong"; Rolando said.

Naxie knew Lucas won't listen.

"Why don't you stay at the old man's place for few days. He's serving you so great food. You should be greatfull and be there for few more days... don"t you"; Lora asked Lucas.

"Yeah...yeah"; Lucas nodded.

"Good boy. Till then we can go and search a place and the ship. If not then we will fight" Lora said.

"What are you saying"; Naxie interrupted but then stopped herself and agreed.

Melinda and Rachel were feeling uncomfortable to join Naxie and Lora because of the boys but they eventually joined.

Seeing the girls moving towads them Cristopher's flirting begin.

"Ignore him"; Naxie said to the two.

She introduced them to others and vice versa.

The bell rang for their break to over and they all left.

After college the girls were not able to meet the guys as they had to directly form a line with the other sceniors to head back.

They reached back in the orphanage. The gor fresh and chaned into some clothes that were provided to them.

The girls planned to meet the lady to ask permission to leave. They decided to take Melinda and Rachel for avoiding any suspicion.

The lady was in her husband's office. Naxie and Lora didn't wanted to enter in but she showed no chance of coming out. Wasting a lot of time they atlast decided to enter.

They knocked on the door when a harsh voice of Chad was heard to enter.

The girls entered in.

Right in front was a very hard core man sitting on his chair. His face had many swords and burn marks depicting how many battles had he survived.

Lora remembered Naxie describing about him earlier. Chad was known for his trasnformations skills. He could turn into any animal or monster he wanted.

Just thinking about dangerous animals killing her was frighening her.

"Mam we wanted to take a tour of the city"; Lora said trying to be as normal.as she could.

"And why do you want too"; Chad asked.

"We are new here so just wanted to know more about the place"; Lora thought of saying but saying new would lead her to answer many more questions about their original wearabouts.

It was better to not speak about it.

"We just wanted to roam around for some shopping"; Lora replied.

Before Chad could have again interupted the lady looked at him with a small smile. He stopped the question he wanted to ask.

The lady turned to face them and gave them the permission to go. The soldier to accompany them was called.

Lora and Naxie noticed the dangerous stare they were receiving from Chad.

"Was he suspecting something"; the two thought.

They acted normally for him to not realize things.

The girls thanked and left the place with the assigned officer.

They headed to the boys place. Sam was waiting ready for them to reach there. As soon as they came Sam moved out of the house and left the place with them.

The officer was asked to take them to the main places specially harbour and sea shore.

Naxie started to note down. She also noted down all the places where the policemens number were specially higher.

They were taken to many places. In between they also visited some shops to avoid suspicion. Melinda and Rachel were enjoying. They had never roamed out so much in a day.
