CHAPTER THIRTY ONE: PART EIGHT

Kane was searching for the old papers where he found something. He was shocked. He just left the papers there and teleported himself to a place where he would obviously find Lora.

He was standing in front of the bungalow. He was in thoughts wondering something...

"Will she be here;" Kane wondered.

Kane instantly teleported himself to the headquarters'. He quite had an idea that maybe Lora wasn't at the bungalow but at the headquarters.

He reached the headquarters. He rushed in. He had no idea how they had reached the torture room earlier thus he had to search in all nook and corner for Lora. He wasn't searching for the room rather for his girl thus he knew when he would exactly find it.

He had reached the torture room. What he saw in there made him outrageous. Lora was in a tank entirely sunken.

He rushed there to save her. His magic wasn't working. He picked up the torture instrument which was there lying on the floor. It was filled with blood, Lora's blood.

Kane just burst open the tank with it. Tears rolled down his eyes as he tried to check on Lora's condition.

Worry was covered all over him. Lora's clothes were in full rags. Her entire body was covered in wounds. She wasn't breathing.

He tried his best to remove the water from Lora's body. Kane was full of frustration. He was so worried. Kane's magic wasn't working there. He thus realized how useless he could be sometimes without his magic.

Lora heartbeat could be heard. She was at last breathing.
Kane was relaxed a bit. Kane waited no more time and covered her with his shirt and took her out of the head quarters. His magic worked out of the headquarters' which he used to improve Lora's condition a bit.

He then teleported themselves to the head's house.

Seeing Lora in that condition everyone was shocked. Kane condition doesn't seem like answering to any questions.
His face also seems to be wet and others didn't want to think of reason why it could be like that.

Lora condition gradually increased with Kane's magic. Though her physical wounds were better but her mental state was nowhere better. She was so frightened. The scenes constantly just flashed all in front of her. She shivered like anything.

Kane couldn't just see her in the stage. He hugged her as the rage in him grew.

The others had left the two alone.

Seeing all that, the head decided to reveal the truth of the island to them.

The story goes back to ages ago. There was a well known family staying in the bungalow. Though they were very rich but as much they were wealthy kinder hearted person and helpful they were to all the villagers and thus a lot respectful. The villagers that time were all good to them.

The rule of not touching the stone and the person who touches being turned as a criminal was yet valid at those times. The man knowing about the rule but not able to recognize the rule stone, he by mistake touched it and soon was the main target of the policemen's.

The policemen's found out about it and the torture on him began. Villagers supported him. The people who supported had a fight on the beach where they were brutally murdered and buried.

After all that the police men targeted the lady, the man's wife but she locked herself in the bungalow. The policemen's did invade but they never found the lady on thy other hand the policemen's who entered in the bungalow had disappeared themselves. Whoever entered in the bungalow after that were found missing.

After that time all the travelers who reached there never ever reached the village. No one had any idea what happened to them which now Lora very well knew what their condition could be.

And especially the policemen's who arrived there or their team mates. They faced the worst consequences.

Even though the group knew what were the things happening, they had no idea how to solve it. Naxie was yet missing and the group still had to find a way out of that place and seeing the rage that Kane had built up it was obvious he wasn't going to leave that place without doing anything.
