CHAPTER- TWENTY SIX: PART EIGHT

Next day the lecture's and practical's began. Stuart was present in each and every class but even then he behaved as if he never knew who Lora was or had never ever talked to her. Lora alao didn't bothered him much.

He had his own personal secret's and so did Lora. No one knew about the large bounty she had on her head.

At first the practical session's were going on very tough for her. She was best in all the theory classes but practical was not her cup of tea.

She tried day in and out. They soon had their first exam where Lora topped in theory but failed in practical's. But there was another topper. Stuart, he had not only topped in theory but also in practical's.

All were shocked. They knew he was attentive but during practical classes he just used to booze around. He was least intrested in practising and never did and suddenly scoring top was just a shock.

All had thought him to be a loser with no stregth to even maintain his true form but his score's were just the opposite.

In few month's time Lora's practical work gradually increased. Many fairie's criticized that but they were just not able to do anything other then criticize.

Lora was top among all the fairies and the one to competete her in each and every step was Stuart. He never ever talked to anyone. Lora herself had tried but before she could speak he used to just dissapear.

She also started ignoring. Who would like to bother someone who wasn't intrested.

A YEAR AND HALF LATER.

A rumor had spread. The rumor was that Stuart was going to try break of the curse. Hearing about that rumor Blossom was just not able to stop herself from having a chat with Stuart.
Many things had spread and the environment in the school had changed. There was a saying that Staurt had joined the college on the first place just to break the curse.

The curse thing was too sudden for Lora. She wondered whether the rumor's were true or not. She decided to talk to Stuart at any cost specially after knowing Blossom's intrest in the curse by few fairies.

But as usual his speed was great. Lora wasn't gonna back up this time. She followed him. Although he had speed but Lora too had no less. She was able to catch up and to stop him from running further she bumped on to him and hold him on the ground with herslef on top.

"What do you thing you are doing"; Stuart asked after some time.

"You just won't talk..."; she said exhausted.

The silence had spread in the full moon night. The place was too silent and Lora's fast breathing was heard.

"I don't trust you on getting back on your feet an answering to my question's"; Lora said.

Stuart didn't reply.

"Then let's get to the point like this itself. Is the rumor true that you had come here to break the curse";

"Is the rumor true that you have crossed the underground passage alive without even a scratch"; the back fired question reminded herself of the past.

She had actually forgotten about it.

"I don't have any idea how I crossed that thing"; Lora said.

"So do you wanna try joining me down there"; Stuart asked.

Lora was shocked as she stared down at him with wide eyes.

"Why would you like me to join"; she inquired.

"Is it not obvious to ask my equal competitor to help me out to increase my survival rate";

"So you had been training to increase your strength to break the curse"; Lora asked.

"Or rather..."; Stuart was interupted.

"Try to learn conversion's to form a new spell to break the curse... can you really do that? Can you form a new spell"; Lora asked.

"You can do that too. You have tried and succeded", Stuart said shocking the girl again.

The boy was right. She had tried small new spell's and she had succeded but how did he knew about it.

Mean while as Lora was busy in her thought's Stuart was able to escape from Lora's hold even though she was on top of him. He had just diassapeared in thin air. No sign of him was seen. Just a wisper in the silent lonely night was heard to her.

"It will be nice to join forces... again",

The word's were just wisper but those word's were just to clear for her.  It echoed in her ear's again and again.

Lora was feeling too uneasy but nice. She went to her house and moved to sleep in her room.

In all this month's she had been staying alone. She had got herself a new appartment gifted by the head and was staying there alone and had least contact with her old room mates. But she did had herself informed about each and everything about her old room mates.

Next day Lora woke up to find Stuart right next to her bed sitting on a chair.
Before she could have spoken anything her mouth was shut with Stuart's hand's. Lora looked at him with wide eyes.

He made her hear the commotion's that was going round. Lora heard many people voice's. They were yelling to to open up the door.

Stuart had removed out his hand once Lora knew that people were around.

The people were not able to barge in because of a barrier which Lora had placed around her house and it was quite facinating for Stuart to enter doing no damage to the wall what so ever.

"Or have you broken down the barrier and created a new one" she spoke out in a wisper but for him to be audible.

"You can guess about that later"; Stuart said, "Well you are accompaning me"; he said and pulled her out of bed.

Suddenly a blue light shined in front of them and Lora was dragged in it.

It was all just in a second's time. He just pulled her once and in that time the portal opened and she was pulled in.

Lora was surprised by the magic he had performed. She couldn't possibly do such an advance magic. Although she had been known for performing magic without spells but even with the help of spell she couldn't possibly do that magic. And yet Stuart was able to do it without any use of spell.

She wondered how advance his skill's would be? Was he trying to just restrict his skills and match her level for purpose?

"Pay attention"; she heard him speak.

Lora came out of her thought's to notice the place she had landed to. It was the so called famous cursed underground passage.
