CHAPTER THIRTY ONE: PART SIX

The three had landed in the forest. They were lying on the ground. It was kind of peaceful. They just hoped they didn't face any more things in the forest but as soon as the thought crossed by the three heard some noises. It was as if something's were running towards that place. They were able to hear heavy breathing noises.

The three stood ready to face it. Though they had no idea if there was something which was appearing there which they would be able to fight or not.

The things were coming closer. Kane suddenly dropped his defense state and that made the other to distract when the two were suddenly dashed by few people and they fell down. Kane had made his escape and had stood aside.

They were none other than their team members. Seeing their faces it was quite evidence that they had went through many other things. They were probably running away from something's.

Naxie wasn't with the others. No one had any idea where she could be. They had not seen her. She was thus yet missing but the condition of this people was nowhere to wait and search for Naxie thus Kane decided to just teleport themselves at the village before any more other incidences could take place such that they won't be able to take.

They had reached at some place in the village. The village seemed to be more relaxing than any other place they had yet been on the island. No sooner the tired group just fell asleep.

Morning when Lora got up she noticed something strange. By shaking the others she woke everyone up.

All were shocked to see the scene. They were all surrounded by tons of village people all armed to just attack. There were many observers too. The traveler's hands just moved upwards showing themselves defenseless.

"Where have you come from? Who are you people," the villagers asked.

"We are just travelers who have come from the seas," Kane said as he moved his hands down and moved forward which made the villagers more alert. Plus all of the travelers were armed which made the villagers more cautious.

"It's not possible that you are travelers from the seas," the villagers said.

"But we are," Lucas replied.

All the villagers were shocked and the whispering among the people who were staring the group begun.

The head of the village suddenly made his way towards the travelers.

"You are welcome at my place," the head said shocking his village people but none asked any questions to him.

The group was invited to heads house. It wasn't that big but just a normal house for four members to stay in. He, his wife and his 2 kids made the four.

The travelers were well fed and meanwhile asked about how they reached at that place.

Each of them narrated their stories not in detail but in brief that many kind of stuffs occurred with them while they were on the island.

The head and her wife were listening and in between exchanged glances.

Kane questioned them about the things happening there but none had any answer to give. They said that they had no idea to what this people have faced. They had what so ever no relation.

Though their said words were different but Kane and few others did realize that something was fishy. The villagers were obvious hiding something and specially the head and his wife.

Kane's mind was yet a bit disturbed. The scene where he had seen the female moving towards him and he not able to react was something he wasn't able to understand and not even able to forget.

He knew it wasn't any imagination of his or anything. He still had the mark of the wound he had created with the blade.

Naxie was yet missing. The others decided to go in search of her right away. They had no clue what she would have been through and there was no way they would have made any more delay. The others were went to go in search of her while Lora remained in the village to found more about what the people were hiding about whereas Kane decided to check on the library where he would find more about the place.

Things were getting on confusing when the others were not able to locate Naxie while Lora tried to find more about the happenings or about any of the other travelers facing the same thing but none of the villagers were ready to speak up.

Lora thus decided to find more about the place rather than about the happenings. There would be someplace where the happening would begin. She mainly doubted the headquarters which they were in but she personally had no courage to go in there. She was afraid.

She found out about another big place over there on the island. It was a huge bungalow, an abandoned bungalow.

So there were two big places apart from the village the headquarters and the bungalow which both were distant away? The forest separated the village from the others two.

"Is this the reason why we were feeling safer here in the village," Lora wondered.

She decided to go at the bungalow to find out about more things.
