CHAPTER- THIRTY: PART FIVE

"Should I drop you home"; the leader asked joining her outside the office.

"No it's alright. It's at a walkable distance. I can manage";

"By the way where are you staying";

She informed that she was having a temporary stay with Reu and Ron.

"Are you sure you don't want me to drop you. Where as I don't have any vehicle for myself. I would have probably walked with you";

Lora did wanted to spend time with him. She was trying hard to control her feelings but eventually wasn't able too and agreed to have his company.

The too walked the silent streets in the full moon night.
Lora didn't knew what would she talk about. She was just walking trying hard to not behave odd or disclose his feelings to reveal her identity.

She looked at the leader. He was not even looking at her. He was just walking on the path looking at the sky at intervals and on the ground. Lora was able to feel some intense feeling arrising from him. It seemed to be a very hurtfull feeling. Lora guessed it was sadness and emptiness.

The leader was in his own thought's all the while. The girl's house had reached and not even once the guy spoke. Lora was feeling sad. She just left when she reached her house.
She didn't even wish a good bye. She didn't expect one from the leader as he was yet in his own thought's.

Even then she looked once before entering the house and saw the leader waiting there still at the same spot with a smile which Lora could now feel how much he was forcing himself into it. He waited until she didn't went in.

Lora moved to the bed. She was upset. The walk and company wasn't at all like the one she had expected.

She just lied down without even changing or having anything and fell asleep.

Next day Lora woke up. She was feeling fresh. Nothing about the previous night troubled her. She got ready and left along with Reu and Ron. She was eagerly waiting to go and continue reading.

She reached the cabin. All her things were kept as it was without anyone disturbing them. She liked it. There was no interferance of any kind.

She went on reading and reading. She didn't saw the leader the entire day. In the evening Reu and Ron called her while they were leaving.

Lora checked on the time. She looked around. Almost the entire office was empty and the other's that remained were also leaving.

Lora remembered the walk with the leader. She didn't wanted to feel the same like the previous night thus packed up for the day and left with Reu and Ron.

A week was up. Lora had no contact with the leader what so ever.

She had almost done with most of the files. It was the day of the ball. The entire staff was invited and had been given a day off. Even then Lora was at the office. At some point the girl who once had eagerly got the tickets for the ball was least intrested in going even though she had free invitation being a staff member as well as she had the tickets that she had bought.

She went in the office. Mostly she had thought too just use her magic and move in but to her surptise the office was open.

No one was present in the office though and Lora didn't wanted to go and check on with the presence or absence of the leader in his cabin. She went in her own and started to read.

It was evening. Lora was aware of things what were happening around from few days. She was not so fully engrossed in the reading.

Lora wondered whether she should or should't go for the ball. She was kinda afraid to feel the same like that night but she knew that she won't be alone with the leader. So feeling the same would be pointless. She will be with loads of people around.

She thus eventually decided to go for the ball. She went to her place to get dressed. She didn't had any special atires with her but magic was all time preferrable but she wondered whether she should dress up beautifully.

She could just wear a normal gown and go for the ball. She was least intrested in getting ready but even then as the leader would be there at one point for him she wanted to dress up.

Lora wasn't ready to accept that she wanted to get ready for him. She was faking herself telling that she wanted to get ready for her ownself.

She just ignored all her thought's and did some magic on herself. Some sparkle surrounded her when she casted the spell. A light covered her entirely and when it dimmed out Crizel stood in a red, flurry, sleeveless, beautifull gown with a slide slit.
Her hair was tied up in a bun and some hair was coming out of the bun.

She had some beaded pins to keep her hair in place. A small necklace with the similar kind of beaded earing was around her neck and in her ears. A long black healed sandals made her look more taller and suited well on her gown.

She reached the ball room with teleportation. It was a huge one. There were people around many recognizable colleagues and few unrecognizable rich people who could probably afford the tickets all staring at the beatifull lady stepping in the ball room through the entrance.

The main guest of the evening had yet not arrived. Lora saw Reu and Ron and joined them.

"You look stunning"; Reu said.

"You look really awesome" Ron commented.

Lora thanked them although her mind was somewhere else. She was in search of someone else's complement who didn't have seemed to arrive yet.

Food was served with drinks around. People were enjoying themselves. Soft, calming music was surrounded in the ball. It was posh one and none middle and lower class people were seen unless they were working under the leader.

Lora well knew by now that the price of the tickets were not arranged by the leader rather it were the other authorities trying to get some money in their pockets.

The leader was just called up for the ball like a chief guest and the others had ariived there just for him and nothing else.
