A/N: Flood me (;
September 10, 1:34 pm
nam seolhee.
This moment is what I feared the most.
Right now, I'm still standing still, watching his wroth expression. His face was contorted in fury as he gave me a piercing look. I know his blood started boiling and his nose was flaring the moment he laid his eyes on me. It's already my turn to run away from him now, but I couldn't seem to budge. I just waited until he does what he does next.
That's when it was too late to run.
He immediately ran to me before I even make a move. I was too slow and stupid. He yanked my wrist, making me wince as he brought me to somewhere I couldn't have guessed, the back of the school building. My throat was dry and I was too speechless and weak to scream.
Tears started to form in my eyes when the guy who broke me— and the guy I broke as well, slammed me against the wall. It shocks me that he treats me like this.
My cheek started to sting after he slapped me on the face hard. My hands immediately landed on my almost-bruised cheek, trying to process everything that just happened in a blur. Everything is just so unclear.
The last time I spent withhim, he told me that he would never hit a girl under any cirumstance.
And he isn't living upto his word.
"Do you like that, huh Seolhee?! Don't you know that you're lucky that I didn't kill you yet? Aren't you fucking lucky that you just got less of what you deserve?! I can't believe you're doing this to me!" He shouted, his voice apoplectic with rage.
I had the choice to scream, but I didn't. If I fail making someone hear me, who knows what else he might do to me?
My head started throbbing and tears continued to flow, my knees going weak as well as my hands. I can't think straight. I then kicked him in the shins and tried to run away from him. I tried. Why can't anyone help me now? Why?
He didn't even wince or do anything, he's just too strong for me too handle. He grabbed hold of my hair as I was running and pulled me closer to him, causing me to close my eyes shut and grit my teeth as I hissed in pain.
The moment he lets go of my hair, our eyes suddenly met. I didn't feel the tingles and the sparks inside me when our eyes met, unlike like before. His eyes were red and full of rancorous expression, making my heart ache.
He continued to speak, making me want to cover my ears.
"What have you been doing all this time, you bitch?! Fucking other people while I'm away? Don't you have any shame for yourself huh? I treated you right didn't I, and this is what I get? What is this shit?! You ran away from me just because of people told you?!" He started shoving me hard by the shoulders, his shoving getting harder each time.
I can't even think straight.
"Donggyu.." I called, my voice frail and soft, "oppa..."
I remember those times where butterflies formed in my stomach everytime I call him that. It felt so long ago.
"I'm sorry.." I breathed. He just smirked at what I said, letting out a devious chuckle.
"Aren't you just pathetic?"
The moment these words left his mouth, I closed my eyes shut, getting myself ready for what he was going to do next until I heard a voice in the background.
third person.
"Shit," Jungkook cursed under his breath from out the window of the school building's second floor. His heart started racing as he saw what's happening to Seolhee outside the building with an anonymous guy who started to physically abuse her.
Panic started to rise in his chest and raised his hand up high in the middle of class.
"Yes, Jeon Jungkook?" the teacher asked, eyeing him with her eyebrow raised.
"I need to go to the bathroom!" He yelled. The teacher first wondered why he was such in a hurry but she let him go afterwards. Jungkook hastened down the set of stairs without any skeptical thoughts, panting as he went.
He then walked to where he thought Seolhee was.
"You!" Jungkook suddenly heard a male's voice shout, who's not that far away from him. "What are you doing to Seolhee?!" It took Jungkook a while to recognize the voice and the appearance of his girlfriend's twin, Jaeyong.
Too late, Jungkook, he thought to himself, You didn't save Seolhee.
Jungkook hid behind a wall as he eavesdropped, hyperventilating. He tried to be as quiet as possible.
"And who the fuck are you?" Donggyu asked Jaeyong with a tinge of arrogance in his voice.
"How is that a part of your business? Listen Donggyu, if you're going to keep hurting Seolhee, then you'll have to face me." Jaeyong said. The two then glared at each other with clenched fists as the atmosphere intensifies, making Seolhee speechless.
The name Jaeyong has mentioned made Jungkook's eyes widen in surprise. It all started to make sense to him.
SH mentioned a Donggyu guy in one of her messages to No One once and that's what Jungkook can remember. He suddenly thought that it's impossible for SH not being Seolhee since there were too many clues and this counts as one. The name, the relationship with the family, the depressed personality, where she lives and Donggyu all told him one thing: Seolhee is SH.
Jungkook wasn't surprised.
Knowing about this, he wants to keep helping Seolhee as he can.
Jungkook peeked as Donggyu slowly walked towards the latter and started to push him on the chest repeatedly, making Jaeyong walk backwards little by little. Jaeyong pushed back more repetitively.
Jungkook's eyes then turned to the weak Seolhee who was standing there. He wanted to grab her hand and pull her out of the scene but he was afraid of being caught and getting involved in the fight. It wasn't long before Jaeyong punched Donggyu on the face with full of force.
As they started fighting each other physically, Jungkook didn't care aboout anything else but saving Seolhee. Just as he was about to step in the scene and drag Seolhee away, he was interrupted by Jinshil who called him.
"Jungkook oppa?" Jinshil called from a distance, making Jungkook frozen in spot. "What's happening?"
He was speechless and turned to her with a seemingly blank expression. "I don't know."
Curious of the fighting sounds, she immediately scurried towards the whereabouts of the three people and peeked behind the wall. She gasped in surprise as she saw her new classmate and her twin fighting, along with the girl her twin likes standing there. Jungkook was standing behind her, following what she's doing.
Even with this happening, she didn't stop the fight.
Instead, she turned towards Jungkook and pushed him away from the scene, as far as she can. "Go back to class, Jungkook." She sternly ordered him.
Slightly staggered by her command, he spoke. "But.. what about Seolhee?"
Jinshil felt her insides twist in jealousy and and her heart ache as well. Despite this, she shook her head with a smile and wrapped her arms around Jungkook's neck, subsequently whispering to his ear,
"Seolhee's safe now, oppa. Don't worry about her and go back to class, okay?"
