"Being able to see the dead isn't real, Jungkook, but crazy people are. They're two different sorts of things." The young nurse told me from behind me and gave me a small smile. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion for a split second then laughed at her response.
I didn't know that any of the school staff could be this silly. But maybe she said that because of Jinshil's state, I don't even know.
"So Seolhee, are you okay?" I turned my head around to check out Seolhee's state. She pressed her lips in a tight line and nodded her head once. She didn't speak and leaned her back on the comfortable seat provided for her.
"That's good. Do you think Jinshil will be alright?" I asked her but she just shrugged.
"She just fainted, Jungkook. I don't know what else happened, I still remember that her hands were on my neck or something, I'm actually pretty scared." Her voice faded into a whisper. I immediately stood up from my seat and kneeled in front of Seolhee, noticing the sullen look on her face. She looked down at me and gave me a questioning stare.
"You don't look too well. It wouldn't harm you if you try to cheer up, you know." I commented and held both of her hands.
"It's because I saw it, everything too. There's this girl who appeared out of nowhere, and I don't even remember who she was. Her name is Akagawa Yumi, she said, and she's from Japan. I was so lost, you know, I even saw my kid self witnessing somd domestic abuse. It's also the same name Jinshil had mentioned before she even fainted."
My lips parted a little in surprise. I don't remember anyone I know named Yumi, but who is she to appear in both Seolhee or Jinshil's vision anyway? I don't even get anything. Before Jinshil fainted yesterday, she kept on pointing at Seolhee and calling her the bame Yumi and all.
She left both of us confused, but Seolhee looked like she was in the same track as Jinshil.
As if they were seeing the same things.
"Do you want to take her somewhere where she needs special help?" A thought shot through my brain, I don't know how but she made me think like Jinshil was crazy. I couldn't tell, either, yesterday she wasn't anything close to this. She didn't point fingers at Seolhee and called her malicious names, she was more passive and reserved than that.
"Don't say that, Jinshil will be alright, maybe she just needs time to rest. It's kinda concerning how it's been more than half a day since she was admitted here you now, but we couldn't really take her into the hospital or something." Seolhee said in concern and directed her gaze towards Jinshil who's resting well, her eyes closed shut as she slept soundly. The blankets covered her well enough to keep her from the cold anyway, but I wonder what happened that lead to this.
"How do you think she got the sudden urge to do that to you?" I asked and frustratedly balled my hand into a fist, hitting my forehead lightly as I tried to get my brain to work. I saw everything too, Jinshil's hand was on Seolhee's neck, and they both fought each other that way. It seemed like a planned confrontation, but Seolhee said it was probably a force that made her to that, which I couldn't get.
"I don't know Jungkook. I want to do some research and ask people about Akagawa Yumi. We need to know what happened to Jinshil right? We probably need to ask some people before Jinshil wakes up." She said and worriedly diverted her stare to the confined Jinshil.
