"Seolhee's safe now, oppa. Don't worry about her and go back to class, okay?" Jinshil said and subsequently released Jungkook from her touch, making him slightly confused.
"What? How can you make sure of that?" Jungkook asked in all curiosity. Jinshil felt another painful pinch in her heart knowing that Jungkook cares about Seolhee more than he has ever cared for her. But she tried to maintain a straight face.
Pressing a finger against her lips, she spoke, "Shhh. Listen and follow what I say. Go back to class now." She demanded once again. A bit surprised by her suddenly change of tone, Jungkook decided to obey.
He heaved a sigh and spun around to walk the other way back to his classroom.
Jinshil was saddened by Seolhee and Jungkook's connection, but that didn't stop her from trying to reach out to the struggling Seolhee. Stepping into the scene, she grabbed Seolhee's hand to escape from the situation before stopping her brother and Donggyu from fighting.
With a serious look on, she proceeded on dragging the confused Seolhee down the corridor, abruptly stopping in front of the girls' bathroom. Jinshil didn't know what to say to Seolhee whose eyes widened upon seeing Jinshil's face.
"J-Jinshil?" She asked in recognition. Everyone in their school knew who Jinshil was. She's well known for being beautiful and smart, but to Seolhee she didn't know how she acted like. She didn't know if she was extremely hostile and rude, or really nice and caring.
Jinshil's eyes then dropped on Seolhee's wrist, which is slightly reddish in colour because of Donggyu's grip on her hand from a while ago. Jinshil grabbed Seolhee's wrist and observed it but Seolhee quickly pulled her hand away and hid it behind her back. It also didn't take a while for Jinshil to realize that Seolhee's eyes looked dull as if she had cried.
Thoughts about Jungkook and Seolhee's relationship still flooded her mind as she asked, "What did he do to you?" she sincerely asked. Concern grew inside her.
Seolhee's eyes immediately widened at Jinshil's thoughtful question but she couldn't accept another someone claiming to care for her. "What? It doesn't matter. J..Jaeyong and Donggyu are fighting, it's better if we stop—"
"No, Nam Seolhee. Answer me. What did Donggyu do to you?" Jinshil cut her off, demanding for an answer in a stern voice.
Seolhee flinched at Jinshil's demand and bowed her head down low. The latter then grabbed the sides of her face with both hands and raised her head up to look at her in the eye.
"Tell me what the fuck did he do to you."
Why are Jungkook and Jaeyong so interested in her? she thought to herself.
She couldn't help but wonder if Jinshil will be one to help or one to make her life worse. She's stuck in a short dilemma, she didn't know whether or not to answer Jinshil whose curiosity is taking the best of her.
"He.. I..." Seolhee tried to speak, her voice slowly changing into a small whimper. Tears started to form in Seolhee's dull eyes again, making her push away Jinshil by the shoulders forcefully and picked up her speed to hastily run away from her.
Jinshil was left dumbfounded but she knew she was hurt. Anger flowed through her veins upon realizing what could've happened to her and him. Right after that, she ran towards Jaeyong and Donggyu's whereabouts again.
