Shattered Dreams

I could not contain my tears I started crying incoherently. Then suddenly my phone started buzzing I took out my phone from my hand bag in hopes that it would be Ryan, but it was GD calling me I composed myself and said hello GD, dear I am sending my chauffeur to fetch you. Be ready my child.

I collected myself. Its all happening again my bad luck will not even let me have one person who will love me. I fixed myself and the before leaving the apartment I went to that picture room I saw a photo frame it has my picture in it. My tears started to well up the again my phone buzzed, GDs driver was here to pick me. I answered Miss I am waiting near the front exit.

I exited the penthouse taking a last look at it and the glowing sign outside the window. Again my world came crashing.

I sat in the limo, I was too lost in my thoughts to pay attention to anything when limo halted I see a huge 5 story Mansion with long driveway which I was totally unaware off.

I see a lot cars are parked outside and so many people chattering, I was bit confused but my mind was unable to process anything.

Mechanically I got off the limo then I saw Mrs. Wilkins she took me by my hand and instead of taking me to the front door she took me to a side door and after walking through a long hallway we reached a room, where I was made to sit in front of big mirror and two girls started to dress me up in a evening gown then as if I came back to my senses I looked at Mrs. Wilkins she said it's big party, GD wants you to look best, I did not question any further, two young girls were busy doing my hair and makeup and were gushing over mansion and the big picture of a handsome guy on the wall I was looking at the picture the followed my eyes and asked isn't he handsome, I just nodded he is hot and he is the owner of this mansion.

Then he must be GDs Grandson. He want me to him.

When the girls are done doing my makeup and hair Mrs. Wilkins came to room and said you look lovely honey.

I got off from dresser and Mrs. Wilkins lead me to the main ballroom , there are lot of people were present the moment I entered the passage I was standing at the top off the stairs GD came up and took my hand in his and held the mike from another hand, then we ascended the stairs with him I feel like I was walking down the ails only to shatter my hopes the man who promised me to marry dumped me like rest of the people in my life how much more worse it can get. I was standing next to GD then he started speaking ladies and gentleman may I introduced my future granddaughter-in-law, I was shocked ,will be an understatement, I already told him that I love someone else but i don't know what to do since that person who promised he loved me did not even bother to tell me that he is leaving me.
