Jack's POV
We turn around to the voice but all we see is the moon. Mist fills the room and a man with white hair and dark blue eyes comes from the mist. He has to be at least forty. He speaks with a wise but bellowing familiar voice.
"Manny?" I ask.
"Yes Jack it's me."
"What! He can do that!" Hiccup exclaimed.
"Of course he can he's the Man in the Moon!" Rapunzel replies.
"Nortix, If you let Penelope go then I won't hurt you and leave you at peace. Now let her go." Manny said.
"I don't think so Manny, you didn't give my love a chance! Why didn't you make her into a guardian and save her!" He shouted.
"Because she asked me not too." He replied.
"What!? That's a lie!" The Nortix yelled.
"Ask her your self." Mannny said. "Sarah."
Then a girl who I got to say looked almost exactly like Merida flew in. She was glowing and had a white gown on.
"Sarah? Is that really you?"
"Yes it is Norman, now please you've made quite a mess here, let the woman go." the spirit replied.
He did what she asked. A powerful force coming from his hand began pulling the darkness away from Penelope until she was finally herself again.
"Manny?" she asked.
"Yeah it's me Penelope," He replied.
"Did I get kidnapped again...and turn dark.....again?" she asked.
"I'm afraid so." Manny smiled, "But it's okay you're back now." and gave her a hug.
Sarah went over to Merida and Hiccup.
"I'm deeply sorry for what my husband caused between you two, he didn't mean it he was just in a dark place that's all."
"We understand." Hiccup said. holding Merida's hand.
"Norman, let's go home, Edmond is waiting for us." she called.
The Nortix was now his human self again except this time his eyes were full of light instead of darkness.
"Keep her safe Hiccup, I am terribly sorry." He said.
"Thanks, I will."
"Jack, keep Rapunzel safe too, she's more powerful then you know." Sarah said to me.
What's that supposed to mean? But I shook my head in agreement anyway.
Then just like that they were gone.
"Okay Manny how long have you been able to do this?" asked Hiccup.
"Oh I've been able to do this for centuries."
"What!! You mean you could've helped Penelope the first time!" I yelled.
"Well yes but then you wouldn't of passed your test to be protectors now would you?" He smiled.
"So why did you come to the rescue now?" Rapunzel asked.
"Because my little flower, It wasn't your battle to fight. Merida had already lost her memory once, I didn't want anyone else to get hurt for my mistake of leaving Penelope unguarded."
"Come on children we should be heading back to the workshop. We have a lot of dimensions to be fixing." Penelope said.
"Great you guys make a mess and you get us kids to pick it up." Merida said.
"It'll build character,." Manny said.
"Trust me the last thing Merida needs is more character." I say
As if on cue merida makes me slap myself.
"Did you really have to give her that power?" I ask Manny.
"Yes, it entertains me quite a bit." Manny says.
"HA!" Merida says.
"That's just cruel Manny that's just cruel."
Author's note: Okay guys sadly we are coming to an end. All that's left is the Epilogue. I know sad. Now I'm not sure if I'm going to make another book to add to this series because I have a really good idea for a Mericcup fanfic, but it's your choice so will it be ROTBTD 3 or New Mericcup fanfic?
