I Love You

You had been dating for a few months now. He wasn't your first boyfriend but you were still nervous to say it. You hadn't said it to any other person besides family. I love you is a big deal to you. He hasn't said it either.

Today after school you two have a date. You think he may say it. Lately he will begin and stop before he says love. What do you say back? The school bell rings forcing you out of your thoughts.

You went to the student parking lot. You saw him in his car smiling at you. You smiled back and got into his car.

"Hey Y/N!" He kissed you cheek.

"Hey babe." Your hands intertwined and he began to drive down the road.

"So what are we doing?" You asked looking at him.

He smiled," It's a surprise."

"H/N!"

"Y/N!" He mocked you.

"Fine." You laughed. You looked out the window. Where were you going?

He stop and there was nothing around.

"Where are we?"

"You'll see." He got out and went around and opened your door.

He took your hand and began to led you. After about 20 minutes of walking. You saw a beautiful waterfall.

"Are we going swimming?"

"We can if you want. But right now a picnic!" He walked you to a blanket.

You both sat down and he unpacked the basket. It was filled with your favorite foods. You both just sat there and and ate. You enjoyed each others company. After you finished you and him laid on the blanket. You laid on his arm and he had his arm around you.

"Y/N darling."

"Yes?"

"I-I love you." You froze. He just said he loves you! You heartbeat sped faster. Do I say it back?

"I-I-"

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to put you on the spot I just had to tell you. If you don't feel the same way I understand. I'm sorry I didn't mea-"

"No! I love you too H/N." He turned around and looked at him. You realized you did love him... a lot.
