Water Fountains

This is more of a crush imagine... So yeah!

You and H/N have been friend forever. You live on the same street so you both went to the same school and as kids would play together. You've always liked him ever since you learned boys aren't icky. But the only problem is you have the bravery of a chicken nugget.

So as time went on you watched him get girlfriend and you were still hung up on him. Occasionally he would try to set you up but none of them compared to him. The pain you felt as you heard him talk about them tore you apart.

And now he's dating the Alfa girl at school. G/N.(girls name) What made it even better is that she hates you! Why? You have absolutely no idea! Maybe it's because you're friends with H/N. Or maybe she knows you love him. Yes love. You've seen him during the bad times and good times. You were there for each heartbreak and date.

You were walking up to the school building and saw G/N and her crew at the school fountain.

Great! 

"Hi Y/N!" She called out to you. You slowly walked over to her.

"Hey G/N..." You say unsure of what's going on.

"You look nice today." She said smiling.

Maybe she was changing.

"Oh... Thank you I went shopping at the mall and got some new clothes so I've been trying some new outfits." You say.

"You know what would look even better?"

"No. What?" Wow you were obvious to what was going on.

"If your clothes were drenching wet." She dropped her books.

"What I don't underst-" she pushes you into the fountain.

Your head pops out of the water as you gasp for air. She's there laughing picking up her book.

"Chow!" She waves her hand and walks away.

You stand up. Noticing everyone looking and laughing. You step out and can felt when squish of your sneakers. You bite your bottom lip trying to stop yourself from exploding and crying. Calmly you grab book pack and the floating paper out of the water. You enter the school and see everyone staring and a few taking pictures.

You see H/N down the hall. He hasn't seen you yet. But man do he look good today. The real question is when did he ever look bad? Part of you were temped to go a different route since you mascara is probably running down your face and you look like a big wet mess. But who cares he was there when you got your first period bled through you pants so this could be that bad. You go to your locker which is next to his. He closes his and turns to you.

"So I starte- what happened to you?" He asked examining a piece of your wet hair.

"I was pushed into the fountain." You say still going through your locker for extra clothes.

"Who?!" He was concerned.

This wasn't the first time she did something to you. You would tell him what happened but you would never tell him it was her. You didn't want to ruin his relationship... And part of you was scared he would choose her.

"Nobody."

"Y/N who is the jerk terrorizing you?!" He pulled your jaw towards him gently. Oh how you loved his touch.

"No one." You say looking away from him.

"Why won't you just tell me?!" You push his hand away and begin to walk away from him.

He is now walking beside you keeping with your pace. "Who?"

"Don't worry about it." He grabs your arms and spins you to face him.

"I want to help." His face has softened. You're tempted to tell him the truth but you don't.

"If I needed you help I would ask. I don't need you. It's under control. So back off!" You too your arm from his grasp and continue to class.

The day went on and what tied it all together was that neither of your parent could bring you clothes so for the rest of the day you wore damp clothes. You haven't even seen H/N since you snapped at him. You felt kinda guilty. He wasn't the one making you suffer it was his girlfriend.

The bell rung signaling that school is out. You check your phone and H/N is taking you home. What a wonder day! You trudge to the student parking lot and see H/N and G/N there. They look like they're fighting. You walk up closer so you can hear but they can see you. (A/N you're so snoopy!)

"I can't believe you've been doing those things to Y/N!" He buys at her.

"I was only fun and games." She says with a smirk.

"You mean to tell me that dumping spaghetti all over her, taking her clothes after gym, pushing her into a water fountain and a list I could go through of you making her life horrible is 'fun and games'?" He looked beyond angry.

"Why do you care anyway?"

"Because I lo..." He thought for a second," because I love her. I loved her with all my heart." He said confidently.

"Fine then we're through." She scoffed and walked off.

He turned his head and saw you. He rushed to you and wrapped his arms around you.

"I love you too." You say looking up at him.

"I'm sorry it took me so long to realize and that you had to go through all of that."

"It was worth it."

"And I'm sorry it took me so long to do this." He bent down and kissed you. Your heart fluttered.

At last he was yours.
