Rain Check

Mitch and I had planned a day out. First we would go to the cafe for breakfast. After that we would go to park and just hang around and have lunch there. I finally she's getting ready while he was downstairs.

"Babe?" He call up to me.

"Yeah?" I yelled back.

"Did you happen to check the weather?" I stood up want went downstairs.

"No why?" I said reach him at the door.

"Umm because of this." He opened the door and man was it storming.

A loud crack of thunder and lightning made sound. I quickly jumped to him. He closed the door and laughed at me. He kissed the top of my head.

"Movie day?" He asked with a smile.

"Movie day." I confirmed.

We both happily went up stairs and began to dress down. He had left some clothes at my house after he had spend the night at a friends he came straight from there to me. I took off all my make up and put of some pajamas. I set up my computer and hooked it to the tv.

"What first?" He asked looking at all my movies.

The one I suggested he said no and the one he suggested I said no. After about fifteen minutes of this circle we finally agreed. I snuggled next to him under the covers and he wrapped his arms around me. We watched movie after movie with only occasional breaks for snacks and the bathroom. I felt my eyes getting tired as I buried my face into his chest.

He stroked my back," Tired Aaliyah?"

"Mhh..." I hummed.

He gave me a kiss on the forehead and scooted den to be eyes level with me.

"I love you." He pulled me closer.

"I love you too." I breathed in his scent.

Even though we didn't get to do what we had planned I'm okay with the rain check.
