"Diet Tonight"

This year you had decided to audition for the school play. And you got the female lead! You were so so happy and thankful. It was a good choice of play too. It was a romantic musical. Since it was school you didn't kiss the male lead, (boys name). instead at one point you hugged him and he did a half spin. You are very hesitant about this because you tend to be a bit self conscious. And a guy you weren't really friend had to physically pick you up and spin you.

At practice you both had to get use to this. It was a few day until the play and you came to the part. You said your line and jumped. He caught you and when he did you made and for some reason as he spun you said," Okay?"  

Everyone including yourself was laughing. You weren't embarrassed by this until (boys name) made a comment. He leaned over to you and made a crushing noise.

Then told you," Diet tonight." and continued laughing.

Of course you knew he was joking but you took it to heart. At first you didn't catch what he said so you just continued to smile and laugh. The music began to play and he grabbed you hand to lead you around the stage for the finale. At that point you were embarrassed. He waved his hand an mouthed 'just kidding.' You just nodded your head and smiled. The end of rehearsal came and your mom picked you up.

"How was practice?" said asked her eyes not leaving the road.

"Good. I know all my lines."

"That's good. I know you're going to be great." 

"Thanks." You turned your head to the window.

All you could think of was that comment. You knew you could have been overreacting but he basically made a joke about one of your biggest insecurities. But why would he say that in the first place? And like you could loose twenty pounds over night. Maybe he should pick up some weights? You arrived home and went straight to your room. You put ear buds in and began to drown the world out.

All of the time your music stopped and you ringtone play. H/N was calling you. You sighed and answered.

"Hey babe." You sighed.

"Hey sweet cheeks! Everything okay?"

"Yeah.." you knew he would know you were lying.

"Y/N spill now."

"I don't know? I'm probably over reacting."

"Just tell me."

"Well at practice you know how he has to pick me up and spin me? Well he just made a comment."

"What did he say?" he sounded a bit aggravated.

"It really doesn't matter."

"What did he say?" He sternly said.

"He made a crushing noise and then told me to diet tonight." H/N didn't answer." H/N? It's okay really."

"Y/N I love you and just want you to know he is a stupid idiot. Don't listen to him you are perfectly fine. I'll call you tomorrow. I love you."

"I love you too." he hung up.

Today the jump went a lot smoother. So once practice was over you were greeted by H/N instead of your mom.

"What are you doing here?" You asked.

"A boyfriend can't pick up his girlfriend?" He kissed the top of your head.

"I was just wandering. Let's go. I'm tired." He walked you to the car and opened the door for you.

"I'll be right back." He closed the door.

You sat patiently in the passenger seat and looked in the rearview mirror. There stood H/N towering over (boys name) holding him by the collar of his shirt. Your eyes went wide. (Boys name) looked terrified. H/N roughly let (boys name) collar go and walked to the car. He calmly got in and buckled.

"What did you say?" you looked at him.

"I simply said that he needs to get his foot out of his mouth before I put mine you his-" You cut him off with a kiss.

"Thank you but you really didn't have to."

"I don't want guys thinking they can say that about any girl especially mine." He kissed you once more and began to drive.
