I had a ton of fun writing this chapter - it's short I know - but I thought I'd get something down since it's been so long.  Enjoy!!!

I walked through the halls of the floor Alison said her dorm room is on. It's an all girls floor so I'm only too happy to go looking for Alison. These are the benefits of having your high school friend go to the same school as you are.

I've forgotten the room number she gave me so I walk the halls looking for Alison. Since school has just started and the students don't know each other, I've been unlucky so far. I've asked three women if they knew which room Alison Whitaker is staying in and no one knew.

I'm at the end of the second to last hall when I see a woman walking out of the bathroom in a towel and very long wet dark hair. It's 3pm in the afternoon; who takes a shower at 3pm? But, lucky for me, I make eye contact with her and she looks embarrassed.

"Hey do you know which room Alison Whitaker is in?" I ask as I check her up and down.

"Nope," she quickly says as she rushes from the bathroom to her dorm room.

I slow down my pace so I can watch her long legs disappear into her room. At least I know which room she's in, 314.

I cross over to the other side, the only quadrant I haven't walked up and down. I walk to the end of the corner and I see the final dorm room open and I peak in.

"There you are!" Alison screams as she runs up to hug me.

"There you are!" I scream back. "You have no idea how hard it was to find you! Do you know that no one on your floor knows you? I had to pace the halls up and down and stare at women dressed in just towels to find you!"

"That just must have been such torture!" Alison screeches as she pulls me into her room. "By the way, I told you I'm in room 337. But, I'm guessing you forgot the room number. Or you purposely forgot so you could just roam the halls checking out the girls."

"I honestly forgot!" I say.

"Uh huh," Alison says.

"No really, I did forget!"

"See anything you like?" she asked jokingly.

"Well since you asked, I saw this beautiful half naked Indian girl on your floor. Do you think you can introduce me?"

"What does she look like?"

"She has long dark hair, olive skins and brown eyes and about yeah high," I say.

"Well that was very descriptive," Alison says sarcastically, "that just described 500 million Indian women." She smacks me and asks me jokingly "Is that why you never asked me out because you like Indian girls?"

I throw one of the pillows from her bed at her, "I did ask you out – you punched me remember?"

"Oh yeah."

"Why'd you do that?" I asked. I thought our moms would love it if we ended up a couple being that they're both English.

"Are you really that dense?" Alison asks.

I groan. "You liked Alex didn't you? Why do all of the women I meet like him? You would think I would at least get some attention because of him that some of the women would be willing to date his brother!"

Alison just stares at me.

"What does he have that I don't?"

"Well since you asked, he's just so broody, and he has that I just don't care attitude and then there's the motorcycle. He's just a mystery. You on the other hand are an open book. Nothing left to discover," Alison states like this is just a fact she's listing about world history.
