I'm so loving writing this book! I should be doing so many other things but I can't get the characters out of my mind so you get another chapter in the same week!
I love the soundtrack to 50 Shades of Grey and it looks like the sequel 50 Shades of Darker is also turning out to be a good album. I did not like the book I read the first thirty pages or so and I'm not into BDSM and the grammar was awful I couldn't continue. And I did not go see the movie because like I said BDSM does not do it for me. I don't plan on seeing the new movie but I will say I do like the music. The song above is from 50 Shades of Darker and I liked it - it seemed to fit well with this chapter.
Just curious how many of you liked 50 Shades of Grey? How many of you are going to see the movie this week?
As usual, please do vote and comment - it helps me figure out what I'm doing well and what needs improvement. And, I hate to ask this but I'd love it if you really like the book if you could share it with your friends. The third book is not getting too much love in terms of reads so would love any help getting the word out about the book. Thank you so much for your support!

Anjali
I finished reading the paper and I was on my second cup of coffee. I had been up for a while so I decided to go and check on Karthik to see if he was awake.
He was still covered in the sheets and he didn't look like he was even close to getting out of bed. I put my coffee cup down on my dresser and slid into bed hoping I could get Karthik to get out of bed.
"Hey sleepy head," I whispered into Karthik's ear.
He turned around and pulled me further down into bed. "Why do you always get up so early? I like waking up with you next to me."
"I can't help it, I just can't sleep in for long. But, you need to wake up. We're meeting everyone for brunch and we need to leave in thirty minutes, forty-five minutes max."
Karthik turned away from me and put his head in the pillow and groaned. And then he turned his head back towards me, "How can I get you to cancel brunch? I can think of a few other things we could be doing," he said as he slid his hands under my shirt.
"Come on, you hardly ever come to New York; my friends barely know you. I told everyone we'd be there. Plus, this is the last time I see everyone before the holidays."
"Anjali, I never get to sleep in, please let me sleep in today. I'm so tired from studying all of the time. Stay with me," Karthik pleaded.
"Karthik, I promised everyone I'd be there. Everyone changed their schedules so we could meet while you're here. Plus, it's just brunch and then we're free and we can pick up where we left off from," I said seductively.
"Will you be mad at me if I take a rain check on brunch? We can do whatever you want tonight."
"What time is your flight tomorrow?"
"It's not until six in the evening."
"So you can sleep in tomorrow morning."
"Anjali, come on I'm finished for the semester and I just need to rest."
"Okay, I'll let you off the hook today if you make it up to me on New Year's Eve."
Karthik sat up in bed now wide awake, "Hey hon, I'm not going to be back until January 10th."
