I pulled the car into Arjun's parent's driveway. I put my hand on Arjun's shoulder, "How are you feeling?"

"Like I want to crawl into my bed and sleep for a week," Arjun laughed meekly.

"Well you can definitely dive into your bed, we're at your house."

"Thanks for driving," Arjun said as we walked up the sidewalk.

"Not a problem, in fact it was my pleasure, I really miss driving my own car."

I knocked on the front door as Arjun leaned on me.

Helen answered the door with a surprised look on her face, "Weren't you coming back on Saturday?"

"That was the plan, but I think Arjun got food poisoning or something, he hasn't been feeling well at all. We thought it would be better if he came back."

"Is that so. What's wrong with you Arjun?" Helen says as she walks in to the living room. "I'm surprised you love camping, I can't believe you'd leave early."

"Must have been something in the water," Arjun murmured as he shuffled his feet slowly into the room.

"Didn't you filter the water? I know I packed the water tablets," Helen said with her arms crossed across her chest.

If I didn't know better she didn't seem sympathetic to Arjun's condition.

Just as Helen was staring Arjun down, uncle walked into the room, "Lets get you up to the room I'm sure it's nothing a night in your own bed won't cure," he said with a smile.

He walked us up the stairs and uncle opened Amar's bedroom door signaling me to put my stuff in there and then walked Arjun to his room.

Just as I tossed my stuff down and sat on the bed, Helen auntie walked in, "So much for camping on spring break," she said.

"I know, but it's okay – we at least got to spend two nights and I got to see Yosemite. It's so beautiful! I hope Arjun and I get a chance to go back another time. I'd love to spend a whole week there," I gushed.

"A whole week," Helen laughed, "I think Arjun might be scarred after this, you might need to find another camping buddy. Did everyone else come back too?"

"No everyone else is still there, it didn't make sense for everyone to pack up. I was able to get Arjun back in time. Plus, everyone else was fine."

"Interesting that he's the only one that got sick. How are you feeling?"

"Oh, I'm fine. I can still smell the fresh Yosemite air," I smiled.

"Well, I'm sure Arjun will be feeling fine by tomorrow morning," Helen said knowingly, "and then he can show you around locally since you still have half of spring break left.'

"Thanks, auntie. I'd love to take a shower; can I get a towel? I figure since I'm back to civilization, I might as well as clean up."

"Of course dear," she said as she walked out of Amar's room to get me a towel.

Arjun

Once I shut the door to my bedroom I fell on my bed; god it felt great to be back to civilization. I loved the feel of my own bed.
