One week later and I'm at the studio, again. I keep coming here for some reason and I'm not sure why. I looked around the empty room that has normally got Ari and Phil messing around in it. I sighed and rubbed my hand through my hair. I tapped the pen on the piece of paper, trying to get some song ideas. All that was running through my mind was Lexi. Every thing about her was just. Perfect. In sign of frustration I leaned back into my chair, throwing the pen onto the table and deeply sighing again. I rested my hands behind my head and slouched down in my chair. Maybe if I hook up with another different girl it would take my mind off of her? Well. It is worth a try. I grabbed my hat from the table and placed it onto my head, tilting it to the left slightly. I leaned on the arm rests of the chair and pushed myself up. I picked up the blank piece of paper and placed it in the file with the others. I put my phone back into my pocket and headed towards the door. As I locked the door I searched in my other pocket for my car keys, once I found them I quickly jogged towards my car and got in.
I slammed on the brake, making my body jolt forward. "Son of a bitch!" A police siren came from behind. I looked and saw the car behind me, telling me to pull to the side. I sighed. Why are they pulling me over? The police officer got out of the car with a piece of paper and a pen in this hands. I rolled down the window as he stepped beside it. "You pulled the wrong guy over. You want that jerk!" I pointed to the red car that made me almost crash into him who was stopped at the red light.
"I'm giving you a ticket...." Once he said that anger built up in me.
"What did I do? I did NOTHING! Give him a god damn ticket!" I pointed to the car again, cursing at it under my breath.
"For speeding down the highway, sir" he wrote on the piece of paper, still not looking at me.
"Speeding my ass! You have no right to..."
The police officer sighed and stepped away from the door. "Would you please step out, sir."
I turned off the car and opened the door, stepping out. "Now what?"
"Walk across this white line for me, sir" I gave him a are-you-kidding-me look. "Now!"
"I'm not fucking drunk!" The other man got out of the police car and walked up to us.
"Is there a problem here?" He placed his hand on his bat the was in its holder. I sighed in defeat and walked across the white line.
"There you happy now?" I walked back over to them.
"I.D and driving licence please." I reached into my car and handed them over.
A different car pulled up i front on me. I looked at it, trying to see who it was. It wasn't police, thank god. The door opened and a woman's let poked out. The engine stopped and she got all the way out. I couldn't believe it. It was Lex. She walked over and caught the police officers eyes. "Hey baby. I was looking for you" she grabbed hold of my collar and pulled her body close to mine. I looked at what she was wearing. It was very relieving. She looked back at the police officers. "Oh. Is there a problem here?" She leaned onto her right leg, showing off her curves.
The police officer looked at her and cleared his throat. "Um. No ma'am. Just giving him a speeding ticket"
"Really?he doesn't seem like the speeder type to me..." The police officers looked at each other.
"Yeah. Maybe we mistaken him for the other car. Sorry sir. Here." They gave me my I.D and licence back and walked back to their car. "Have a nice night."
I looked at Lexi who was still standing close to me. " What are you doing here?"
"Saving your ass. So now you owe me..." She winked at me before waving to the police car as it pulled away from us.
"And what do I owe you?" I raised my eyebrow and leaned against the side of my car.
"A drink and something else after that, maybe?" She kissed the corner of my lips. She smirked and walked back to her car, swaying her hips as she walked away. "Follow me."
