I strolled along the path, walking slowly and treasuring the moment I'm in now. I knew that once I walk through that door, I'll wish that I was back in this moment right here. "C'mon, Bruno! The quicker we get this done, the faster we get out of here." I groaned and walked at the same pace. As soon as I was at the doorway, I stopped. "What now?" She sighed in frustration.

I placed my hands in my pockets and looked at her. "You pack and I'll take the boxes to the truck." She rolled her eyes and walked inside the apartment. Truthfully, I really don't want to go inside, her car is here so that means she is here.

After a few minutes I decided to sit down on the step, my back facing towards the door. I know that Lex won't magically come out with a full box any minute now. I pulled out my phone that's in my pocket to see if I have any messages. I noticed the time, he's late. I opened up a new message pack and texted Phil, asking where he was. I asked him yesterday if he could come over and help us pack and lift boxes since I know that they won't be that light. He said he'd come over and help.

He's never normally late, it's only been a couple of minutes past the time we arranged anyway. As if on queue a yellow sports car pulled up with the roof down. He turned off the engine and jumped out if the car. "Boy is it got out here!" He wiped the sweat away from his forehead.

"And you say I swear too much on stage. Look at you! Good luck when we're lifting boxes" he walked up towards me smiling. I stood up and we did out handshake. "You ready to do this?" He jumped up and down, throwing fake punches everywhere.

I laughed at him. "Ready? I was born ready! There's nothing I can't do, lifting heavy things? I do that for breakfast." He attempted to crack his knuckles.

"The heaviest thing you've ever lifted was your sandwich. But I'm not gonna lie. The shit you put in that, I'm sure it is heavy" we both laughed and walked into the apartment, making the once quiet atmosphere into a more alive.

I leaded Phil into the bedroom where Lex was. She turned around as soon as we entered the room. "Hey, Phil" she happily greeted. He replied back and she turned around and carried on packing.

"So where do in start?" He clapped his hands together, looking around. I looked around, clueless too since we really didn't know what she wanted packing. "Do you have a bathroom? I can pack your stuff from there?"

"Yeah. That would be a good idea. My stuff is everything on the left side of the counter and cabinet. Everything else isn't mine." He nodded his head understand her instructions and left the room, taking a box with him.

I walked over to her dresser at the other side of the room. At first, I looked at all the photos on top of them, seeing that most of them were of her and Amanda. I opened the first draw, a smug smile coming on my face. I pulled out the piece of clothing "damn, Lex! Why don't you ever wear these?" I heard no movement behind me which suggested that she was looking in this direction.

She scrambled to her feet and speed walked up towards me. She snatched the pair of thongs out of my hand. "What is it man instinct to go straight to this draw?" She spoke as if she was talking to herself. I rummaged through her draw to see what else she had in there. "Who knows, I could be wearing a pair now?"

I stopped moving my hand in her draw and looked over at her. My eyes scanned her body to see if there was any hint to see if she was wearing any. "Are you?" I put my hands on her hips and pulled her towards me. I bit my lip while my eyes still looked over her body.

"Maybe I am. We can find out later" she leaned in close to my ear and gently bit my earlobe. I took in a deep breath, trying to control myself.

"Damn right we will" she pulled away and walked over to her half full box she was previously packing. I turned my attention back to the draw.

About 2 hours later we packed pretty much everything. All we had to do now was out the boxes in the car. There's about 10-15 boxes we've packed full of everything she's ever owned. "This is going to take two trips to get all of this stuff home, you know that right?" Phil spoke as we looked at the boxes.

I scratched the back on my neck. "Yeah. This is why I don't understand why girls own so much stuff, damn." I looked over at Lexi who just shrugged. "Alright. Should we stretch first?" I joked while stretch my arms.

"Like I told you before, I lift this stuff for breakfast!" He shrugged like it was nothing. As soon as he wrapped his around around the box, he let out a notice as he struggled. Me and Lex bust out laughing watching him pick it up and inch off the floor before dropping it down straight away. "Alright. Can a brother get some help?"

I walked over to the other side of the box, opposite him. As soon as we picked it off the floor we walked towards the car, quickly.

We did this about 6 times before there was no more room for any more to fit in. "Alright man. I'll take this load back to the house and help Lex unpack. Can you manage to put the rest of the boxes in the other car and drive back?" Phil asked while Lex got in the car, waiting for him.

"Yeah. I got it man, thanks for helping by the way" we did out handshake then he walked over to the drivers side.

"No problem, dog." They drove off, leaving me along. Not that I mind, I can handle the boxes by myself, I hope. I walked back inside the apartment and looked at the 6 boxes that were left.

I managed to pick up the first 4 boxes with ease as they weren't that heavy. As soon as I got to the last 2 boxes that's when I struggled. What are even in these, bricks? "You look like you need help?" She asked which sounded more like a question than a statement. I ignored her and picked the box up, holding my breath as I struggled.

I slowly made my way towards the door. As soon as I was a few feet away, the box suddenly become a little bit lighter. I looked over the side of the box and saw Amanda's hand on the side as she helped my lift it. We set it in the back of the car. All that was heard was out heavy breathing. I ran my hands across my painful wrists, not being used to doing this sort of thing.

I walked back into the house and was about to pick up the next box, hoping this would be another light one. To my luck, it wasn't. "You need to rest or you'll sprain your wrist." I thought about it. If I do, that would mean that id have to spend more time with her which is something id rather not do.

I bent down and attempted to pick the box up again. "I'm fine." I managed to pick the box about 10cm up off the floor before a force pushed it back down to the ground. I looked up to see Amanda pushing it down, looking at me.

"Coffee or Tea?" She questioned as I stood up onto my feet. I didn't answer because I don't want to stay and she knows that. "Beer?" She questioned again. And once again, I didn't answer. She walked away and came back within seconds with a can of ice cold beer. She handed it out to me.

I ignored her request and bent back down to pick up the last box. She took that opportunity to grab the car keys out if my pocked, giving me no choice but to stay. I stood up and tried to take them back off from her. "Amanda. Give them back"

"What, so then you can leave? No way. You're going to stay here, have a drink and rest for awhile. You've been at this all day. You need a break" she placed the keys in her pocket and tried to hand me the beer again. I sighed in defeat and took then can out of her hands. I opened the can and took a big gulp, feeling the cold liquid run down my neck.
