Chapter ten

Logan's POV

I couldn't sleep. My wolf sense are on alert and the reason being is unknown. Their is something wrong, but I can't figure out what it is.

"Alex, is everything alright?" I ask in mind link.

I hear a moan "Not now alpha." I smirk at him. "Beta?" I asked George.

"Yes Alpha?" he answered. "Is it just me or do you have a bad feeling?" I asked.

"Yes so do I, should I get the security patrol on it?" George asked. "Yes, but stay with you mate and make sure that the doors and windows are locked in the pack house." I replied. "Okay, I'll be right on that." He said. "Thanks George" I said.

I looked down to my beautiful mate and suddenly she started squirming around a bit. I saw a sweat break on her forehead as she began to shake.

"Skylar! Skylar!" I said frantically trying to get her to wake up but their was something holding her back. "Skylar! I said again shaking her shoulders trying to wake her up out of whatever is happening.

I gasped. Now I know what is happening! Luna's can sometime see what is happening if their is something bad happening to the pack...

Skylar's POV

Dream: I was walking through the woods on a lovely summer night to get some fresh air. The forest looked peaceful and relaxed. There were animals sleeping in the tree's and on the branches. A doe and it's family were curled up beside a thick oak tree with the male in a protective position position around the family. The air smelt of fresh pine and fresh streaming water. I walked over to where there was a small stream of water. I followed it up to where the stream was coming from to see a small waterfall that dispersed into several streams going in different directions. I sat on the ground in front of the waterfall leaning against a large pine while running my fingers through the sediment on the ground. I felt a light breeze as I picked up some leaves in my hand and watched as the wind picked them up and blew them away. I sighed in relaxation of the beautiful scene in font of me. I closed my eyes and leaned my head on the tree. I heard a near by scream from what sounded like a women. I followed the noise and saw a girl that looked to be in her twenties getting attacked by a rogue wolf. She quickly changed into wolf form and attacked back. I tried to do something but my feet were firmly rooted to the ground. I tried to scream and get the rouges attention but my voice was numb their was nothing that I could do. Suddenly a night patrol wolf came to the scene and tore the rouge apart. He ran over to the girl and knelled down beside her changing in human form. Luckily the girl was hiding all of his 'man hood'. "Stacy are you okay?" He asked examining the gash on her right leg and scratches all over her torso. She weakly nodded and looked up to him; you could see the love in her eyes as the tears of pain and sadness fled down her face. "Hold on." He said picking up her in her wolf form and running to the hospital. Tears started running down my face as I just clued in to what just happened in front of me just moments ago. "Skylar!" I heard a voice say.

"Skylar!" I heard and I bolted up from my position on the bed. I noticed my face was tear stained and my body was covered in a layer of sweat.

I looked up to see the gorgeous but concerned face of my mate. I was breathing heavily trying to control my lungs. I let out a sigh of relief. "It was just a dream." I said crashing back on my pillow breathlessly.

"No Skylar, it wasn't." Logan said...

sorry about the late update, I just didn't really know what to write but know I know the turning point of the story! yeah!
