Chapter 14

Few weeks went by and finally my fever went away and tonight was the ball since my birthday will be coming up in a few months time and the other reason the ball was being held was because it was held before when leon was born,getting ready with the maids help there was a knock on the door then it opened up as my mother entered wearing a beautiful white and purple dress with matching shoes.

"Mother you look so beautiful"

"So are you elena you look like a queen"

she replied with a smile then hugged me once the maid had finished dressing me and doing my hair also my make up,getting up from the mirror both of us smiled then left my room halfway down the hallway there was my father wearing his royal handsome tuxedo,along with darren who looked even handsome in his tuxedo attire he was wearing which made my heart almost leap out of my chest,as he approached me then took my hand and kissed it.

"Princess elena you look beautiful tonight"

"T..thank you and um you look handsome"

Both of us blushed slightly then my father chuckled he offered his arm to my mother as she took it darren did the same and so did i taking his arm we then walked down the hallway and down the stairs as we walked down the hallway soon reaching the ball room,the announcer announced my father and mother first as they entered then walked to the throne sitting down then it was mine and darren's turn as he walked me to the throne then sat down next to my parents.

"I thank you all for coming i hope you will enjoy the ball and have a fantastic evening"

Everyone clapped then the music started to play as it did one by one everyone went to the dance floor and began to dance with their husband's,watching everyone dancing darren came up to me then held out his hand towards me asking me if i wanted to dance,accepting his offer then getting up i took his hand then he led me to the dance floor,taking my hand in his he placed his other hand on my waist as my other hand rested onto his shoulder then both of us started to dance.

"You look so beautiful princess elena"

"y..y..you look handsome and your a fantastic dancer"

He chuckled as he spun we around we then headed out onto the balcony the night breeze felt so relaxing and calming,turning my gaze to darren who was looking up at the moon then looked at me with a smile,he then placed a hand on my cheek.

"Elena ever since i met you as a child my feelings for you grew even more and i couldn't stop thinking about you"

"Darren.."

"What i want to say is that i..i..i love you elena with all my heart"

"D..darren i..i love you too even when we met as a child and meeting you again"

Both of us smiled as he stroked my cheek softly both of us gazed into each other's eyes as the moon was high in the sky then slowly closing our eyes our lips came closer and closer until they met the kiss felt so warm,calming and relaxing which made me so warm and happy inside that nothing can not be stopped on this night except for chronos watching nearby.
