"Bucka," Aljaz whispered to his sleeping fiancee, "Bucka, time to get up!" He nudged her arm gently as she lay tangled up in the bed sheets, hair loose and bedraggled. "Whaaa?" Janette grumbled, turning away from Aljaz and pulling what she could collect of the sheets over her head. Aljaz simply smiled. Give it ten seconds he thought. She always did this, but it would only take her ten seconds to wake up in the end.
Sure enough, a few moments later, Janette's eyes had fluttered open and she was now conscious once more. "Morning, bucko." She whispered, tapping Aljaz on the nose. "Morning beautiful bucka." Aljaz replied. Eighteen weeks had passed since the day that they had received the three positives, and Janette was finally showing a little bit.
Aljaz lifted the duvet over both his and her head, both cuddling in the den this had made. "Look at you, little bump showing there!" He cooed, gazing at Janette's slightly more rounded out belly area. She hoisted up her top to reveal the smooth, tan skin. "Baby Bump Skorjanec." She said proudly, rubbing her little bump slowly up and down. "Peanut Skorjanec." Aljaz said, gently leaning in to kiss Janette's tummy.
"Are we going to throw a whole party to announce this again?" Aljaz questioned. "I think it might be quite fun to let them work it out themselves. I mean, let's see which of them figures out first." Janette suggested, a sparkle in her eyes like that sparkle she got when she choreographed a winning dance. "Sounds good. I'm betting that Karen will realise first." He said. "What's the prize for winning the bet..." Janette asked, glints of mischief in her eyes. "Well... A hundred kisses.... And a nice meal out at a restaurant." Aljaz smiled at his fiancee laying beside her. "Hey, even if I don't win the bet, can we still have a nice meal out pretty please?" Janette whispered, looking directly into Aljaz's eyes, which were now merely inches away from hers. He leaned in and placed a kiss on her nose, before saying, "Of course. Anything for my gorgeous fiancee and Peanut." They lay under the sheets in silence, simply accentuated by their rhythmic breathing. They appreciated the silent peace, for that wouldn't last very much longer.

"Bucka, do you want some toast?" Aljaz asked, bustling around the kitchen preparing brunch for the pair of them. They had spent too long cuddling, meaning they had missed breakfast time. "Yes please baby, but only one slice." Janette answered from their room, where she was getting dressed.
She turned to the side and gazed at herself in the mirror. Her and Aljaz's little baby peanut was growing, slowly but surely.
She exited the room, shutting the door behind her. Walking into the kitchen, she sniffed the scent of coffee. "Mmm, smells delicious!" She said, walking to the counter where two steaming coffees were waiting. She picked up the beverage which Aljaz had poured into her favourite mug. Taking it outside and perching on a barstool, she sipped the drink, taking in the sight of a new day in London. "Ahem." Aljaz cleared his throat. Janette turned around to see her fiance in the doorway to the balcony, clutching a tray with a slice of toast, flowers and a banana and a few pieces of Janette's favourite chocolate. "Breakfast for the most beautiful woman in the world..." He said, placing the tray onto the table, "... is served." Smiling from ear to ear, Janette leaned over to Aljaz, kissing him on the cheek. "Thank you." She whispered as he assembled himself on the barstool beside her. He put his arm around the back of it; around Janette, and together they sipped their drinks and Janette ate her toast.
"Baby," Janette piped up after finishing her food, "With the baby on the way and all, maybe we should look into getting a new house?" She looked over at her fiance, who was gazing at the London skyline. "We'll start looking." He answered. Janette could spot a smile creeping onto his face. "What?" She asked. "This'll be our first house together. One that we both bought." Aljaz replied, looking at Janette. She smiled and nodded. "Our first family home."
