"I'm coming! Hold your horses!" Janette yelled at the door as the doorbell rang not once, not twice, but four times. Aljaz was akways impatient, but never this much. 'Key keys keys' she muttered as she wandered around the flat, not noticing that Ana had a firm grip of them and was playing a game she liked to call 'Let's Chew All Of Mommy's Things.'

"Ana! No sweetie! Give Mommy the keys!" She prised them iut of the tot's grip, and quickly inserted them into the door and fumbled the lock around until it sprung open. A tall blonde was standing before her, smiling from ear to ear.

"Excuse me, do I know you?" Janette questioned, attempting to look past her towering figure to see where Aljaz had gotten to. "No, but you do now!" The woman chirped happily. Gosh, someone's perky, Janette thought. "I'm Faye. I'm a friend of Aljaz's." She added, smiling once more like a Cheshire cat. "Aljaz never mentioned you?" Janette questioned, confusion spreading across her face. "Oh, honey, that's because we've only recently become friends. We're... more than friends actually, if you know what I mean!" Janette nodded uneasily, the colour draining from her face. She plastered a fake smile onto her face and listened to what 'Faye' had to say.

"Anyway, Ali was telling me about his recent divorce, and how his ex-wife was so needy and irritating - gosh, she sounded like a right b-word - I would have hated to be poor Ali!" Faye explained. Janette's eyebrows were so high ul her forehead they nearly became her hairline. "Did he now? What else did he say about his ex?" She asked, glints of sarcasm in her voice. "Oh, so much! She seemed like a complete idiot to me!" She paused. "So, he also mentioned something about having two twin daughters, are you their childminder?" The horrendous smile had repainted itself on Faye's face as she waited for a response. Janette simply laughed a little at how loopy this woman was, trying to conjure up the best way of telling her that she was in fact the ex-wife, the one that Faye was nearly called a 'b-word.'

"Mama, mama!" Eva's voice crept into the silence from behind Janette. She turned and smiled at one of her daughters, crawling up to her and grabbing her leg. This was how she would tell Faye. She knelt down and scooped up Eva, who instantly became fascinated with Janette's hair. "Oh, is this your daughter? How old is she?" A small smile had reappeared on Faye's face as she asked about Eva, but before Janette could respond, Ana toddled ul behind her and yanked her leg as a way of saying 'pick me up too!'

"Hang on, are they... Twins?" Faye asked. Janette simply smiled at her, until something in the ditzy mind of Faye clicked. "Wait a second. You are the ex-wife! I'm so sorry!" Janette smiled a fake smile before replying, "Oh, no worries. I'm expecting you'll be taking the twins then?" She tossed Faye the changing bag despite not having any free hands, and then placed her daughters on the floor beside her. Kissing them each on the head, she told them, "Be good for Faye here." Faye was the colour of a sheet of white paper. She attempted to pick up the changing bag which happened to be almost her size, and hold the hands of the two identical girls. Smiling through the obvious struggle, she tried to come across as being collected so as to show Janette that she had it all under control. "See you Monday darlings!" Janette yelled to her daughters, whilst shutting the door to the flat with a smug smile on her face. 'Amateur.' She thought.
