Ross's P.O.V
It was the next morning. I looked at the clock. 10:30am. I slept in because I was up until 3am planning mine and Laura's first date. I wanted to be perfect. I rolled over and rubbed my eyes. I led there for a few moments then decided to get up.
I shoved on some jeans and a tank top and scurried downstairs. Rydel, Rocky and Laura were on the sofa, watching Beauty And The Beast and Riker, Ryland, Ratliff, mom and dad had gone shopping.
"Hey" I grinned, pushing Rocky out of the way so I could sit by Laura, I heard her giggle lightly. Rocky sighed and chuckled, pulling another blanket over him.
"Morning lazy" Laura smirked. I laughed at her comment and gently planted a kiss on her lips. "You look so tired this morning" She added. Staring at my tired eyes. I nodded. "Yeah.. erm, I couldn't sleep last night" I said, man I was so bad at lying. She agreed anyway and diverted her attention back to the movie.
Laura's P.O.V
I looked at the clock and it was 7pm. I walked into his room and he stood there with a grin, holding a bunch of roses. My favourite flowers. "What's going on?" I asked, I couldn't hide my smile. "Laura Marie Marano, will you allow me to escort you to our venue for our first date?" He smirked. I couldn't help but let out a small giggle. I took the beautiful flowers from his hands and gently kissed his cheek. "Of course, Ross Shor Lynch" I smiled.
He told me he didn't want me to dress up. He wanted me to be my normal self. Where it was hot outside, I had ripped denim jeans with a frilly peplum shirt, with some small wedges. Which is so me.
He escorted me outside and we both got into his car. The drive was so peaceful. We didn't say a word until we arrived because I was enjoying the peace and quiet. But it wasn't awkward at all. I couldn't wait to see where we were going.
Suddenly, he pulled up at the destination. The beach. I love the beach so much. Just being here would be a perfect first date. He smiled and opened the door for me. "Thankyou" I grinned. He laughed and kissed me softly. He opened the trunk of the car and grabbed a picnic basket. "We're having a picnic?" I asked, excited.
He chuckled and nodded, he grabbed my hand and we made our way down to the beach.
Ross's P.O.V
We found the perfect spot to sit down. It was near the shore and you could see the sun setting. It was perfect.
I got out the food on the blanket and Laura and I chatted, laughed and messed around for a few hours. It was perfect. I checked my phone and it was 10pm. "We should get going now" I smiled. She stood up and brushed sand off of her shorts.
"Today's been amazing Ross. I cant believe you did all this for me" She said. I smiled. "I wanted this to be perfect for you" I smiled. She pulled me in for a hug. We both pulled away gently. I leaned in and kissed her. "I love you" I smiled. She smiled back. "I love you too"
"Race you to the car!" She smirked, and started running. I chased her and managed to catch her, I lifted her up and spun her around. She was laughing like crazy. She makes me so happy and im glad she's mine.
I kissed her cheek and put her down and we both ran to the car, hand-in-hand. I opened the door for her. "Thanks, again" She giggled and got in. I chuckled and went to the drivers side.
Today was perfect.
