Ross's P.O.V
Laura and I had finished un-packing. And to be honest, the house was perfect. It was the right size, it even had a built in swimming pool out in the backyard. Marie had her own pink bedroom, she even had her own nursery room for when she's a little bit older.
Mine and Laura's room is huge. We have a king size bed with more than enough room, a flat screen TV on the wall. It was like our dream house.
Laura slumped onto the sofa. "I am so exhausted. What time is it?" She asked, staring at me. I grabbed my phone and looked at the time. "5:35pm." I sighed. "Marie will be due for a bottle anytime soon." She reminded me. "Why are you looking at me?" I asked. She laughed. "You have to feed her at least once, Ross." She got up and went to the kitchen. "But I don't know how to feed a baby." I said. She rolled her eyes. "All you do is hold her in your arms and put the bottle into her mouth, it isn't that hard."
I nodded. "Alright, fine." I finally gave in. She grinned at me. "I'm gonna go take a bath." She announced, grabbing her towel and running into the bathroom. My phone went off. I answered it. "Hello?" I asked. "Ross!" Delly screamed down the phone. "Ow." I shouted. She giggled. "Sorry. Oh my gosh I miss you and Laur so much." She sighed. "We haven't even been gone a day." I laughed. "I know, I know but it seems like you've been gone for ages." She said. I laughed at her. I suddenly heard cries coming from upstairs and then I heard Laura's voice. "ROSS!" She shouted. I sighed. "Gotta go Delly, I'll call you later." I said. "Okay, bye Rossy." She said softly. I hung up the phone and put it on the side.
I ran upstairs to Marie, gently picked her up from her crib and grabbed a bottle. I sat down and cradled her in one of my arms and fed her the bottle with my other one.
I could examine her features properly now, she looked just like me. I could only see a tiny bit of Laura. She's beautiful. I fed her the entire bottle and she fell asleep. Man, babies sure do sleep a lot. I wish I could.
I kissed her head and put her back into her crib. By now Laura was already out the bath. She was walking down the hall, tying her hair up. "See, wasn't that hard, was it?" She smirked, walking into the bedroom. I followed her. "You're so funny." I sarcastically laughed. She smiled and grabbed her clothes from the wardrobe. "I can't wait for the house warming party tomorrow. I'm excited for everyone too see our new house." She grinned, slipping on her clothes. "Hey uh.." I scratched the back of my neck. "You don't mind if Maia comes, right?" She looked at me then took a deep breath.
"I don't mind at all.." She didnt sound very honest. "Babe." I said, grabbing her hands. "Just tell me the truth. I don't want to invite her if you're not going to be happy." She looked at me with those big, beautiful brown eyes. "Look, Ross. It's not that i dont want her coming, it's just, i don't really trust her.." She said. "I understand. I'll tell her--" "No." She cut me off. I shot a confused look at her. "I know you want her here. So, she can come." She smiled. "Are you sure?" I asked. She nodded. I kissed her softly. "I love you so much, you know that, right?" I told her. She grinned and nodded. "I love you too."
Laura's P.O.V
It was the next day, in a few hours, it'll be time for the house-warming party. "Ross, can you take these?" I shouted, trying to close the door with my foot.
I heard rustling from upstairs then he came down. "Alcohol? Laura you can't drink." He told me, slowly taking the box from my hands. "I'm not drinking, it's for the others if they feel like it. I'd never do that." She smiled gently. "Oh." I mumbled, i carried the box into the living room and set it down on the table.
"Have you done the food?" He asked me. I nodded. "Yeah, it's all in the kitchen." "You've overworked yourself, babe." He told me. I looked at him, confused. "Go and take a nap, I'll take care of all of this." He told me. "Are you sure?" I asked. He nodded. "Okay, thank you, baby." I smiled, he kissed me and i went upstairs. I quickly checked on Marie and she was sound asleep. I kissed her softly and went to the bedroom and took a nap.
Before i knew it, i was woken up by someone tugging at my leg. "Jkemfslfngje" I mumbled. I heard Ross's chuckle. "Babe, wake up. Everyone's gonna be arriving in a second." I looked at him and smiled. "Okay." I yawned and got up. I picked out some clothes. A pair of leather pants, a white peplum shirt and some white wedges. I shoved them all on. "Do i look okay?" I asked. He nodded. "What?" I mumbled. He was constantly staring at me. "You're just so beautiful." He smiled. I giggled. "You're so cheesy." I said. He kissed me and we headed downstairs.
We heard the doorbell. I hurried and answered the door. Maia and some guy. I put on a fake smile. "Oh, Maia.. and some dude I've never seen before." Maia laughed. "Silly, this is the guy I've told you about. Ramy. My boyfriend." She smiled and kissed him. "Hey." Ramy said. "Hi." I smiled fakely. I opened the door wider so they could come in. "Woah, nice place." She smiled, looking around. When i turned around to face her, she hugged me. "I haven't seen you for ages. You look gorgeous, Laur." She smiled. "You too." I said, through gritted teeth. She pulled away. "So, where's Ross?" She asked. I took a deep breath. "Living room."
She hurried in there with Ramy. I rolled my eyes and the door went again. I walked over and opened it. It was my second family. "GUYS!" I screamed, they all came in and i hugged each one. "Laurie. You look amazing." Rydel smiled. "Delly, so do you. You're always looking beautiful." I smiled back. Ratliff and Rydel kissed quickly and went into the living room. I heard Ross shout their names.
"Laura, You're absolutely beautiful." Stormie smiled. "I love you." I smiled and hugged her. She kissed my cheek and went to the others. Mark hugged me and joined everyone. I hugged Ryland. "I wish you were my age." He sighed. I laughed. "Go away, dork." I pushed him. He laughed and went into the livign room. Shit. Me and Rocky. "Uh.. let's go join the others.." I went to leave. "So you give everyone else a hug, but not me?" He said, raising an eyebrow. "I can't Rocky.. " I sternly said, looking at the floor. "I don't think Ross really wanted you here tonight, so we can't seem like we're close. Okay?" I told him. He sighed and walked into the living room. Everyone else turned up. "Is that everyone? I asked Ross.
He nodded. "I think so." He kissed me and joined the others. I went to join them and there was another knock. "What?" I said to myself. I answered it and it was Vanessa and her boyfriend. "NESSA!!" I screamed and jumped into her arms. "Laura, oh my god. I love you so much. I've missed you like crazy!" She smiled and then put me down. "How did you know i moved out?" I asked. She laughed at me. "I went to the Lynch's and they said you'd moved out with Ross and Marie. So here i am." She said. Then she hit me. "Thanks for telling me." I laughed at her commet. "Sorry."
"So, Laur, this is Nico." She said, motioning me to him. "Hi." I smiled, shaking his hand. He smiled at me. "So, where's this cute little neice of mine?!" She shouted. I rolled my eyes and laughed. "She's sleeping. I promise, once she's awake, you'll be the first to hold her." She smiled and she came in with Nico and joined the others.
